"Intermountain is the worst agency we've ever been associated with. Intermountain never helped us and actually had the children placed in foster care, telling me "you asked for respite care, here it is." We spent a total of 1.5 years enrolled at intermountain during which time they couldn't get services and therapy in place. My only option was to call their crisis line when I needed help. I called one day needing a respite care worker to come attend to my one son while I attended the others IEP meeting. I was met at the school by Intermountain, who allowed me to attend my son's meeting. While I was in the meeting, they called the police, DCS and a mental health crisis team, who detained me for 7 hours. Intermountain told them I had said I was going to kill myself after I told my case manager she was fired. They didn't record the call, wouldn't allow me any recourse and lied to DCS. Luckily DCS quickly saw that I was not the problem and returned the children to my custody but it took 44 days. Stay the hell away from Intermountain!! They refuse to answer any questions and never even apologized, nor would they do an investigation when I asked. My children were abused in foster care. The therapy they now require is extensive. We moved out of the country to get it. Some of the behavior from their employees borders on criminal; it is most definitely negligent. You have no recourse except to sue them and they have a team of lawyers on retainer. Please be very careful if your autistic child is signed up with them. They will throw you, the adult, under the bus in an attempt to save their jobs when it comes to light they aren't doing their jobs. Whatever you do: DO NOT CALL THEIR CRISIS LINE for any reason."

"The Staff and Faculty of the school are Amazing! They come up with different activities that help my son socialize with his peers! Dancing, outings, events structured for these kids to enjoy. I'm so grateful to this school for all they do for my son, and the other kids in this school!!"

"Apparently "not all autistic children/teens" are allowed in to intermountain....they had me fill out some papers for my daughter ( before they seen her ) ...SHE GOT APPROVED....so they wanted to meet her..after they saw her behavior...THEY REJECTED HER..If your child is "in need" of a "one on one" and they say that they can't provide it... Time to start looking for another school!!"
