"Fountain Hills gave me the tools to succeed in my life, sober. Life changing experience, gained 50 lbs of healthy weight here while I detoxed and got on the right medications as well as experiencing group and 1 on 1 therapy. Sandy, Steve, Linda, Tony, Nedd, Kevin and ALL the staff here are so compassionate and love what they do because they been where we've been. If you have mental health concerns, substance or alcohol dependency then this place can give you the tools too! This place is not a vacation home, it's a safe space to do the work to save your mind, body and spirit."
"I’ve waited to write this review, but I’m finally there. We have such a unique situation, and I think my daughter was a wild card in terms of testing their limits, but it’s been over a year now, and I feel very confident that they have delivered! My daughter has borderline personality disorder, and when I set out to find a facility, I was looking for specific things. We wanted a place where she could come off of all the medications she was put on by other doctors, believing that not only were they wrong for her, but any hope for of accurately diagnosing her would be impossible, because other doctors had put her on so much that it became medicating side effects of medication for other side effects and so on. Borderline is not a chemical imbalance, but she’s on only one medication now that really makes getting through the ups and downs of healing easier for her. While Fountain Hills Recovery has a strong focus on addiction, we chose them for their mental health setup. We wanted everything under one roof, so the person in charge of medication is in sync and in communication with the counselors and other staff. I think the States have it wrong in how they address mental health, but they have it dialed in here. We sent her there to begin detox just after Christmas, and over a year later she is still moving in the right direction. I finally have hope for my daughter’s future. For the first time in her life, I have a daughter that I miss when she’s gone and can’t wait for her to get home. This is something I could only dream about, now I’m watching her become an amazing young woman. She has worked so hard to get here (and there’s still more work to come,) but I give so much credit to Fountain Hills Recovery for making it possible. They got her on the right path. One of the most important things that she needed, that other facilities totally failed in, was seeing us through the transition process. They didn’t medicate and “graduate” her, then send her on way and wish us luck. They helped her find a new counselor, and then actually communicated with that counselor. They cared enough to make sure she was set up for success beyond them. I am beyond impressed and grateful. They knocked this one out of the park. One hiccup we had… After the first week in the program, I made an incredibly difficult decision to bring her home , and opted for PHP from home. I like to think as her mother, I knew what she was capable of, and what she needed. So she came home against medical advice, but I still believe it was the right call ONLY for her. The only reason I mention it is not to say that this was a good move, but this is important I believe… they had the ability to see, and adjust their program to our needs. She wasn’t there for addiction, and they were able to change HER program to fit HER. On a personal note, the coordinator, Sandy, is tough where she needs to be, and soft in just the right ways. She’s understanding and communicative, and definitely has her finger on the pulse of that place. She’s easy to get ahold of, and immediately heard and addressed everything concern and question. Stephanie was her counselor, and she is everything you want in a counselor. Willing to tell us things we may not love hearing, but in a very compassionate and caring way. We had a few family sessions with her, and she saw me a few times because if ma and pa aren’t right, how can we possibly help our daughter? Holly loves and respects her so much, she pops in every week to say hi. She’ll be so disappointed if Stephanie ever leaves. Dr Robbie managed her medications, and still manages it today. I feel like he knows what he’s doing, and hears your concerns. He was on board with what we wanted, needed, asked for, and then absolutely delivered. Everyone there did! ADVICE: Communication is absolutely essential. Everyone there listens and actually hears you! Communicate your fears and concerns right out of the gate. They know no two people are the same, and if you express your needs, they will make adjustments if they’re needed according to your situation."

"I am so happy I was able to receive treatment at fountain hills recovery. Steve and Stephanie were professional and impeccable w their word. Sandy helped facilitate a flawless departure and I owe it to the treatment program. The personal one-on-one therapy and TMS therapy were so helpful. It saved my life."
"Fountain Hills Recovery has saved my life and given back to me a life worth living. Sandy and the entire team at Fountain Hills has shown compassion, empathy, respect and love for no other purpose than to help me and guide me in the rebuilding of my thoughts and my life. They have given me my life back, full of hope and joy, free from addiction as well as treating the underlying mental health conditions I have been burdened with for over 30 years.
