"This is place is like a pre-school and elementary school Oasis in the middle of the desert. When we first moved to Tempe in 2016, I visited 26 child care centers searching for a good fit for both our children. I have not seen anything like the Seed anywhere in Tempe. The staff is great, friendly, caring, and dedicated. And they seem to be happy at work, which I did not see in other places I visited. The classrooms are bright, spacious, and full of natural light. The playground is great! The school philosophy is wonderful, close to nature and praising respect for the planet. And we really feel part of the community there. Students do gardening activities, composting, recycling, etc. and there is always an opportunity for kids to learn about social justice here by participating at food drives, Christmas toy donations, etc. I loved that the school does not cater lunches and families can pack their own for their kids. Plus, the school promotes healthy diets, which many other schools, especially elementary schools in the area do not. My husband and I really love this school and our kids do, too."

"My son attended school here for 5 years and many summers. He had a wonderful educational experience. While the school covers academics at a high level, they also offer a nurturing environment and a play centered philosophy (for the smaller kids esp) that is rare to find in today's testing driven education system. The staff is caring and personal. I can recommend this school whole heartedly."
