My husband had recommended this place, mentioning that Lee Ann was an exceptionally skilled therapist. I went ahead and made an appointment, without specifying my preference for a therapist, so I was assigned to another lady. Prior to the session, I explained my symptoms to her, and she gave me some instructions while repeatedly checking with me about whether I could understand her. Once we began, she asked about the differences between massages in “my country” and here. To my surprise, she even criticized my pronunciation of the word "bath." While I take pride in my Asian heritage, having been born and raised there, I believe it is unfair for anyone to assume someone's cultural background solely based on their appearance, without even asking. My husband had informed me about Lee Ann's professionalism and how she accurately addressed his specific areas of discomfort. However, when I visited for my lower back pain, my therapist focused primarily on my upper back, neck, and legs. I don't wish to accuse anyone of being racist; rather, I simply want to share my real experience that made me feel uncomfortable. I must admit, I felt even more let down upon discovering that Lee Ann, who owns the place, is also of Asian descent."
