"My kids have gone here for years and I was always happy with just a hiccup or two, however, this year, the school has greatly gone down hill with no improvement in sight. The good staff and teachers have seemed to have left leaving staff that has no interest in your child's education or safety. Not all, but some. Expectations have become unreasonable and some unrealistic."
"I used to go to this school for Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Everyone here was so nice to me. I used to get in fights in Kindergarten all the time but when I hit first grade, everyone started showing respect to me since I was being more kind. From experience, this will be the best move ever. TUSD schools are starting to get rough. What I mean by rough is students fighting, disrespecting teachers, and many other things. I recommend this school because of its amazing teachers, respectful students and great classes!"
"This school has been an amazing find for my son. His Kindergarten teachers keep in good contact with us, his parents. The care they provide after school has been most beneficial. I've been to their Fall Festival, which was a great experience. Enjoying the ride so far!"
"My son has been going to LPA for 5 years now. I give this school a 1 star because the majority of his teachers have been absolutely phonemnal and helped my son evolve into the young brilliant child he is today.Β However the leadership at this school from principal ewald is absolutely >>>HORRIBLE"
"9 March 2018 Great teachers but the principal needs to learn how to deal with children and especially adults that bring up valid concerns. The principal puts a spin on anything that is derogatory towards the school. Bullying is not dealt with on campus nor at extracurricular activities. Parents are not called when students get hurt unless they are bleeding out their head. Child safety does not seem a priority with this principal. 18 May 2018 After school program students being used to clean the school rather than educate them. When I called the school Ms. Beamer was supposed to be in charge of after school but she would not admit to this nor answer my questions as to why or who ordered this, she only gave me some long title she had, then hung up on me. I could care less about her title, teachers are not to use students to clean up, that is what the janitor or grounds keeper is for. I informed her she could educate my child after school such as have them write or do match. I left a message for the principal since the school would not answer my return call after I was hung up on, but I don't expect Mr. Ewald to return my call."
