Nationwide Vision

"Called to reorder glasses for my son since both of his pairs broke. I was told a week. It's been almost 2 weeks now. If I had known they would take this long, I would have just taken his Rx to Costco and had glasses within 5 days. I wish somewhere else took his insurance so I didn't have to deal with this again. Absolutely ridiculous."

"Nationwide on Florence Boulevard in Casa Grande didn’t know if they could offer blue light block with transitions while I was at my appointment. They double checked and said yes we can so I ordered it but when my glasses came in, they did not transition to sunglasses & when I called back, I was told they never told me that and that they can’t do it, now why is this when two other nationwide vision stores told me they could because I double checked after I was told they can’t do it. I was told by management at the one on Florence Boulevard in Casa grande they would check with corporate to find out why the other stores could do it and they couldn’t, but after two weeks, nobody called me back and I only had 30 days to change my lenses!! They certainly don’t look after their client, I guess they don’t care if we come back or not. I ended up driving from Eloy all the way to Gilbert to get my lenses corrected and they were right, they could do it and they did do it! I would never go back to nationwide vision on Florence Boulevard and when telling people about my experience, they tell me they hear it’s a terrible place to go. I agree."

"Un imaginable such bad service and quality of work, from the very beginning they notified me that my glasses had arrived but the they were scratched that they would send them back to be fix. It took another week, when I finally got them as soon as I put them on I knew they were not going to help. They told me to used them for a few days so that I would get use to them, used for a few weeks NO BUEINO, No Good! Went back was told to leave them that they were going to send them back and do I don't remember what, I just had my wife picked them up tried them on as soon as she got home and guess what? THEY WERE WORSE THAN THE FIRST TIME! My God, what's wrong with these people? Definitely, I would not recommend this place. Next time I rather go to Phoenix, Chandler or even Tucson rather than here."

"Eye appointment went okay but I feel like the eye doctor and staff aren’t very friendly . My 10 year old picked up my phone and the Dr told her “you have two options turn it down or get out “ the volume was already off so I was confused buy his request. The staff up front weren’t bad but they aren’t very welcoming and it made me leave with a bad feeling. I’ve been to serval nation wides before and this one rubbed me the wrong way . Like I said eye appointment went okay but I will not be coming back only to pick up my daughters glasses."

"DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I had an appointment a couple of months ago. They told me the cost of an eye exam was $119. Then after I got back to have the eye test, they told me they're charging me an additional $80 for some obscure reason. So just for the exam it was a ridiculous $199.00! I reluctantly paid it, had a really fast and incomplete exam by the doctor who was in a big hurry and in a very bad mood, making it an extremely stressful and unpleasant experience! I was told my trial contacts would be in the following week and they would call me. I waited 3 weeks, and they never called! So I tried calling them, they wouldn’t answer until after 15 tries. They had never even sent my order in! They said they'd contact the supplier and let me know...I waited another week, and once again, no call. My wife stopped in a few days later to check and they told her that the contacts arrived the day before...and they still didn't even call. My wife asked for my trial contacts to bring home so I could try them, and they refused to give them to her. They actually told her I would have to make an appointment to pick them up! The trial contacts were right there, but they told her my appointment to pick them up would be over another week and a half later! So, I tried calling to just stop by and pick up my trials. After them not answering their phones for over an hour, they finally answered and the receptionist told me too bad, I couldn’t pick up my trials for a week and a half, then she hung up on me! I waited until then, went in to get them, and they only had one contact! I was talking to the receptionist and the doctor walked by, he asked what was going on, so I started to explain, he interrupted me, got in my face, and told me, "If you don't like it, go somewhere else. We don't need your business!" So I left. This is the most mismanaged, disrespectful, slowest, worst run, place I've ever been to! Don't waste your time or money on this POS place. Read the reviews folks. Go somewhere else. I did, and I'm very glad I did! *Update: Went to Vision Center at Walmart. It was a world of difference. They were able to see me right away, professional, courteous, answered my questions and concerns, explained each step, and provided great customer service...for only half the price...with no hidden rip-off costs! We will never go to Nationwide again! They are incredibly rude, impatient, incompetent, unprofessional, rarely answer their phone, and are just a complete nightmare to deal with!"
