Walmart Pharmacy

"This pharmacy is absolutely pathetic. I have gone to them three times now in the last two weeks to get a prescription that my doctor sent in three weeks ago filled. They first lied to me and said they don’t hold prescriptions for that long, clearly they do since it’s been over three weeks now and they still don’t have it ready. When I finally come in for the third time today, they let me know that it is still not ready after I called in this morning right at opening and asked that it be ready by noon. I got to the pharmacy around 2 o’clock in the afternoon, it still wasn’t ready, and they let me know it would be 10 to 15 minutes. 50 minutes later I go back in their line, and they let me know it won’t be ready for at least another 30 minutes "if not longer". They have one person running the entire pharmacy while I was in there. I got back to work five minutes later, and they texted me letting me know it’s ready. If you are slammed and understaffed, I feel for you and understand the challenges that come with that, but don't make time commitments to your customers if you know you can't honor them, or at least be realistic with them. If they had done so, a lot of frustration would have been saved on both ends, I'm sure."

"I thought my prescription was sent to this Walmart, long story short it turns out it wasn’t. I didn’t catch her her name but the lady at the front desk did absolutely everything she could to help me find it. She contacted other pharmacies and the doctor, even thought it was 20 minutes till close, and the day was over for most other places. Thank you again for helping me. Beautiful people"

"One of the pharmacy techs basically hung up on me with a snotty reply of "do what you have to do!" This was in reply to my questions trying to figure out what I'm suppose to do for a prescription. It was the last way I needed to be treated after going the rounds with Insurance company telling me one thing, and walmart another. I needed a calm, small little piece of compassion and I got basically shut down like I mean nothing. This is not customer service I want to deal with."

"This pharmacy has improved A LOT in the last few months. Front staff is fast and friendly, the pharmacists are knowledgeable and honest, too! I'm not sure who ordered the change here, but it is a MOST WELCOME ONE! The only reason I give it a 4-star rating is because their phone system is ridiculous! It will drop your call for any reason, the recorded messages are WAAAAAY too long, so you need to have the options memorized or it'll take quite a while to talk to a human! Otherwise, BRAVO on new protocols!!"

"This is the only place where I usually get my prescriptions at. The pharmacist is very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. They process it so quick that I can pick it up while i’m there shopping as well. It seems busy all the time but surprisingly I never have to wait in line that long. The pharmacy tech is also friendly and quick. I always have a great experience here."
