"I came to tutoring club because both of my children were not getting the help they needed from the private school teachers. I tired working with the private school teachers. However, the teachers didn't keep up their promise with helping my children. The private school teachers made my two children feel unintelligent. They just beat them down and it seemed like they didn't stop. So, I got extremely upset and started looking into alternative solutions for my children. Their private school is a challenging school here in Tucson, Az. I was not about to move them from the private school even though the teachers were bullying my children. They needed the challenge and to learn how to deal with though type of people. I'm not able to let them run my children out of a good education. Children don't need a teacher beating them down. A teacher should be making the children feel empowered. So, I found Tutoring club. My children came to tutoring club feeling unintelligent and a shame. Chad and his tutors that work at tutoring club were amazing. Within two weeks my children told their grandmother and I that they couldn't believe that they felt unintelligent and that they couldn't do it. Homework changed from my children. They have no problem doing their homework on their own after two weeks at tutoring club. They looked forward to going to tutoring club. They said that it is the highlight of their day because they feel like they listen and that they care about them. Unlike their teachers at their private school. Yes, my children was behind at the private school. But know my oldest is a honor roll student. My oldest would have never found the drive it takes to be successful without tutoring club.
