"First things first, the majority of the 5 stars are fake. I was baffled by the fact that there were so many 5 stars for this disaster of a place, so I looked into the people who were leaving these reviews. Low-and-behold, the people leaving the 5 stars must be being paid to leave reviews for places because they had left countless other reviews for ,many different apartments within the same time frame. Besides the point. Let's start with management, upon move in, we were given the wrong key to our apartment. Not once, not twice, not even three times, but four. When we were showing clear frustration with this situation, it seemed to be amusing to the employee who was "helping" us that we were being sent on a wild goose chase. After this, someone was parked in my parking spot. Out of respect, I left my number and a note on this persons car. The resident responded to me saying that that was their parking spot. I checked with management and in fact, they had double reserved my spot. A week or so after this, I was sent on another wild goose chase trying to get my mail. They gave me the wrong key (multiple times, again) and the wrong mail box number. Besides the fact that those who are employed here must be a charity case, I am not only having to pay for my own unit utilities (through a third party, by the way), I am paying for the "building utilities". I have never heard of this. Ever. When I questioned this charge on my account it was explained to me as "the hallway lights and pool water". Okay? The garage gate takes decades to open, things were broken in my apartment before move in, the dog park is not maintained, the pool water is disgusting, the elevators are either broken or take at least 5 minutes to arrive, and the hot tub has not been working since I moved in. The one thing I was thankful about was the fact that I felt safe here, come to find out there was a fatal shooting not long ago. Wow. This place has been full of lies and false advertisement. I am truly counting down the days until my lease is up. While i was writing this my roommate asked me if there was a way I could leave a zero or half-star. Save yourself the MASSIVE headache that is Aura Watermark and avoid this place at all costs!"

"The management team at this property is amazing and doing great things for the community! They offer studio to three bedroom options, some of which being townhomes and penthouses! The view of the Salt River/Tempe Town Lake is amazing! Gym is glass and has amazing views. Has two pools and a hot tub, grills, a sand pit, dog wash and dog park as well! The rooftop lounge and work from home lounge are also amazing additions to the property!! Very walkable if you'd like to take a stroll along the lakeside."

"Moved here because I wanted a nice place, in a good location and that’s exactly what I got!Love Rob the maintenance guy, always have good conversations with him. He is always very professional and responses to all of the work orders I put in. I haven’t had many, but the ones I did have he always takes care of. It’s such a different experience then the past places I’ve lived. He seems to really go the extra mile, and helps me out! So kudos to you Rob!"

"Take note of the 5* reviews from people who only toured... Ave 5 solicits reviews that they then post here for you, cherry-picking The good ones. People like to park in whatever spot they can, whether it's a handicapped spot and they are not, or it belongs to someone else. The locks on the center doors have been broken for over two months, anyone can enter the building at any time. Elevators regularly stop working. Drug use is rampant, from the Cadillac escalade driver in the garage basement who likes to light up in his car to the many bong smokers in their rooms and joints passed between post Malone juniors from their balconies overlooking the pool. There is a constant smell of pot that wafts into the halls from residents who don't care to follow the contract we all sign. As though the contract isn't enough, there are signs that day no smoking at the pool area, yet there is regular cigar smoking there, right in front of management at the monthly drinking parties. They say nothing. Why enforce rules when as a resident you have pit bulls yourself, and drink trulys and fireball in the pool? Bikes are regularly stolen, cars broken into. The worst part is the noise. The drive between Scottsdale and vela/202 underpass and both of the office building garages are frequented by compensators who love to rev their loud engines at all hours. One resident in particular equips Priuses with monster truck tires, removes the mufflers, and adds an illegally loud train horn. He and his buddies regularly blast the horn near the building, late at night. I'm sure this place could be decent to live in, if you can't hear or smell."
