Camden Tempe Apartments

"I lived here for 2 years or so in 2021-2023. The complex was just the east side when I moved in and things were great. Ever since opening the west building things went downhill fast. We had the same amount of staff, but double the residents so nothing ever got done. People were being attacked in the parking lot, robbed, and every package was stolen from each porch. I wouldn’t feel safe walking around after dark from my car. I just spoke with a friend who still lives there and she confirms these are still issues, and people have been trying to break into her unit. Combined with the insane cost and fees, this place is not worth it"

"*been here 3 months so far* Pros: - Professional experience with leasing staff. They're friendly and always seem to be willing to help. Good communication. - Good maintenance team - West side is new and has a nice common area with gym and office spaces if you're an amenities person. - The location has good proximity to places like Papago and Tempe Town Lake - I've barely heard a peep from any of my neighbors above, below, and to the sides.. walls must have good noise cancellation or I got lucky with some quiet neighbors. - Halls are always spotless (west side) and outside isn't too bad either.. although I have ran into some dog poop on the ground at least 3 times so far... CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS, PEOPLE. Cons: - LOUD. My biggest and pretty much only gripe since I live on the Curry Rd side. Curry Rd is a very noisy road with loud cars driving by and revving their engines at all times of the day. Also right next to a fire department so you can expect to hear loud fire truck sirens at least once every 1-2 hours.. 2 have gone off just while I write this review (just never open your windows and you're fine ;) ). - Expensive for what you're getting... I pay 2200-2300 for a 1 bedroom after all the extra expenses are totaled in.. I don't agree with them having a required internet package that includes cable TV (I DON'T EVEN HAVE A TV)."

"I previously left a 5 star review that I deeply regret. I am completely mortified that I encouraged people to move into this extremely deceiving “luxury” living community. This community is not safe for anyone to be living here. Homeless have taken over the hallways, stairwells and parking lots. People are sleeping in their car just steps away from where we PAY to park our one vehicle. Drug needles lying around inside and out, constant damage and theft to vehicles and property, tenants that display domestic violence publicly, police constantly on site, the list goes on. The lack of security is alarming, and management’s only concern is maintaining their “luxury” brand. I wish I was done. The shape of my apartment is also far from luxury. Deep cracks in almost every wall and none of my doors shut, they are too large for the frame. Paint literally disintegrates off the walls if they get wet. See photo. Maintenance is non existent. I am devastated to be stuck living here for the remainder of my lease. Please don’t make the mistake we did. See photos attached from the community wall."

Front Desk office staff. One thing I admire about the front office staff were the greetings. It’s starts there. It felt like home immediately walking in the office. I felt like Camden was home.
