"San hacienda has demonstrated that they are not concerned with safety of residents. Several cars have been stolen from this gated community, 1 of them being ours. We met with Chandler Police who stated that this area in Chandler has a high crime rate and would benefit from cameras in the complex but San hacienda office management declined to install “working” cameras that actually work when we requested on multiple occasions. When safety should be #1, not a “budget”. Office personnel is no longer on the premises either and it just feels like they are not attentive to it. They reassure us that security is around, but lots of residents constantly complaining that they don’t ever see security around, and we agree, we don’t see them either. On the other hand, the maintenance has been great, you always see them around more present than anyone else. The past maintenance folks were friendly and awesome and now we have new ones. Mike J from maintenance has been very helpful, very attentive to our home and effectively communicates his plans with us, thank you!"

"If you like to waste money this is the place for you. There's not Luxury about these apartments. I've never lived somewhere that you get charged for the common area utilities. Leasing Staff doesn't care about the Residents. Lived here for 1yr & from the beginning had issues with the A/C & Heater not working properly. Lived in a 2 bedroom & the only place that would be cool or warm was the living room area. My 1st electric bill was $500 the A/C wasn't ever turning off or cooling the apartment. When I told the leasing off they couldn't believe that. It took 4mos for someone to come clean the air ducts. Then in the summer time before we left Rainforest A/C came out but couldn't tell me what was going on. Other then the Apartment was that way because it faces a certain area. But when asked why my Daughter's room was 80° at 9pm & freezing cold in the winter they couldn't tell me. Olivia the leasing agent didn't care & Nicole the Property Manager was just Rude. When it came to trying to get ahold of Tracy the Area Manager couldn't even get ahold of her regarding the situation. Left multiple messages & sent emails & no response. But yet she would contact the Apartment & Nicole would reach out. The last month asked if we could leave 1mo early due to the issue we were having with the A/C & Heater they said No. Even asked to speak with the Area Manager once again & Nicole said that the Corporate Office doesn't reach out & speak with Residents. Never lived where you couldn't Speak with the Area Manager about issues. Shows that they didn't even care about the people who lived there. Also know that if they have to replace the carpet in the apartment after you move out it cost $1,800. After my non refundable deposit & the renters insurance claim i had to pay $650 what a rip off. Will never Live at San Hacienda or any Mark Taylor Property ever again."

"I think it’s important for me to write this review because there’s only so much a person can take and reviews are the only way to be heard at times. There were many red flags from the moving process(during the process the communication was poorly. I was reaching out to them 90% of the time trying to figure out everything myself. When it was a day before I was supposed to move in, I was still waiting for approval and again no one reached out to me, I had to call them. I was always calling them for updates and doing so each time the price would change, there was always more money I needed to pay to move in) but I looked past it because I felt this community was absolutely beautiful so me paying expensive rent and high move in cost would be worth it, but I was mistaken miserably. Finally moved in, I had to put well over 10 maintenance requests for one maintenance guy to tell me all of this was supposed to be done before you moved in. I would’ve thought especially when you are moving in a premium upgraded unit, I want what I am paying for. There were so many little things and still to this day I still find myself wanting to submit requests because things aren’t correct in this unit (many lose cabinets, leaking water from the bathroom sink that’s possible costing me more money in bills, lose railing in the bathroom, etc.), but I’ve been just dealing with it now because I’m already thinking and planning my next move. Adding, the complex does A/C filter replacements. The first time they did the replacements my unit was skipped/ missed. Waited a week before calling and then someone came out asking me where the A/C filter was to be replaced and I told him I didn’t have it and he was just as shocked as I was. Again it’s just little stuff for me. Furthermore, I can’t express how moving in has been a complete nightmare. I moved in August and did not get dealt a good deck of cards when I come to my neighbors. Since August the people who lives next me to simply doesn’t care for me and my 3 year old child. The day I moved in since august every single day for the past 3 / 4months these neighbors have been deliberately disturbing me and my daughter at night consistently! It’s one of the sickest things I’ve experienced. So for 3-4 months I’ve been dealing with this issue I finally reach out to management. They reported to me they reached out to the neighbors. The same night the disturbance was the worst it ever been. Long story short, I had to reach out to management multiple times before they stopped a little bit. Til this day now they get to do whatever they want, they don’t disturb me at night anymore but they take it upon themselves anytime throughout the day just before 12am the next day to be ignorant atleast once a day. I’ve been dealing with this since August and there not much they can do because I don’t have proof. I’m sorry I work overnights and cant take time out to focus my attention and energy on a neighbor who clearly as an issue with my family for breathing and being next to them.. The only thing I can do is pray to God to heal their ways and heart."
