"Great place to call home. Vianney always greets you with a smile and is very helpful with my family needs, and is quick to any problems that arise. By her being empathetic to my needs, I felt that we built a relationship I could trust. The grounds and facilities are always kept clean every day by the courteous workers. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others."
"I am writing this review to share my experiences at Rise at the Retreat after staying here for more than 2.5 years along with my husband. One best thing and the main reason we have stayed at this place for this long is because of the swift response from the apartment maintenance team and particularly Maintenance Manager - “RANDY”, we have consistently experienced prompt and efficient service whenever we have had maintenance issues in my apartment like AC Leakage, BathTub Clogging, Lighting and Door Lock. Randy has been exemplary in addressing concerns and ensuring that repairs are carried out in a timely manner. His dedication to maintaining the property and ensuring resident satisfaction is truly commendable. We can see him 24/7 doing some work around the complex and ready to attend to any emergency maintenance issues on Weekends as well. He takes care of Swimming Pool, Lawn maintenance, Common areas and recently noticed picking up Dog waste as well (even though it’s not his job as far as I guess) and this tells you how dedicated he is towards his work. He left the maintenance team for a while and things were completely out of place during that period and if not for him this complex would have been empty long back. Cons: However, I must express my dissatisfaction with the Leasing Team, particularly in the area of utility charges. Over the past few months, I have noticed a significant increase in the utility charges billed by the leasing office. For a 1B1B unit they are charging around $250-300 per month and that’s insane compared to other apartment complexes nearby. Despite my efforts to understand this situation, they always come up with some random calculations on how utilities are charged through an automated email. It is disheartening to feel overcharged for utilities without a transparent breakdown of the costs. I believe in fair and accurate billing, and the lack of clarity on the charges is not only frustrating but also erodes trust in the leasing process. While my experience with the Maintenance Team has been excellent, the issues with the Leasing Team's handling of utility charges have been a source of frustration.I hope that the management takes note of these concerns to improve the overall resident experience at Rise at the Retreat."
"I had a conversation with the maintenance man after a neighbor posted a negative review using footage I gave them from my security cameras. While the review had merit, I woke up today to see that the maintenance man ( on the weekend) actively worked to correct the issue. He cannot control the tenants nor is he responsible for the actions. While this is not my favorite place on earth, it is refreshing to know that someone is striving to make this community safer and cleaner while I complete school."
"First and foremost, this property is located within 0.5 miles of ASU, and still they are offering 1 month free rent to people who will take a new lease. That tells a lot about this poor management. The current management is money-hungry and charges around 320-350 USD per month as utility bills (higher than any apartment in AZ). They won't report the proper information on the electricity meter readings and will randomly charge you this extra money. The entire apartment is roach infested. They take money but never spend enough to solve this pest problem. Though they will charge you money to manage the common area, the laundry unit remains dirty, and the broken dryer will tear off your clothes. The two ladies sitting in the office the whole day won't take any of your concerns seriously, which is frustrating. They will treat you like you live here for free, and you will be ignored when reporting any legitimate problems. The only good thing is the maintenance guys are friendly. However, their effort hardly made it a liveable place that you can call home due to the dishonest and money-hungry management. For God's sake please stop robbing money from tenants in the name of utility recapture. You guys can do better."
"Alejandra has been top tier. Her professionalism and willing to work with any situation and she was able to accommodate my situation which was a huge help. She has made my move in experience hassle free and her follow up response time has always been in a timely manner. Thank you for helping me with this move and the renovated apartment looks amazing."
