"Better experience than other apartments I have lived in. Fiber Internet for cheap via CenturyLink is also a plus and hard to find anywhere in Phoenix besides terrible Cox. I'm not going to pretend that this place is the most amazing in the world, but the location, amenities, and are solid for what they are. My biggest issue is the very inconsistent additional charges outside of rent, tax, water and sewer, and trash. Lots of little fees that can quickly add up. We are paying about $200 extra per month on top of rent. The quality of the apart fixtures and fittings are no better than a place that is $500 less, but your paying more for location here anyways."

"Living at Carter was truly divine. I was there for 3 yrs and only left to move out of state back home to CA. The amenities were great, modern furnishings, and in a great part of town - close to the hustle and bustle of Old Town, but far enough to enjoy the quiet neighborhood delights. The staff were always prompt to remedy any concerns throughout my time and maintenance was also very expedient. I’ve lived in quite a few apt buildings in central Phoenix and downtown before moving to Scottsdale - Carter was by far my favorite!"

"I lived here for about 4.5 years. I did like living here for the most part but there was some things that really bothered me as well: 1. The hallway floors were washed only once during that period of time. They were disgusting. I asked the apartments multiple times to fix and was ignored. 2. Cob webs are all over the property in hallways, stairways, etc. Again, I asked the apartments to clean and was ignored. 3. I had a bike stolen out of the bike garage storage. Not only did we get very little help from the front office, the police said they've never been able to get video camera footage from the Carter. 4. My car had it's wheels stolen on 71st street (the back side of the Carter) and got put up on cinder blocks. 5. When I moved out, I did a walk through and wasn't told to fix anything. My final bill had charges on it anyways."

"Ok location just a bit dirty in hallways and outside should be kept up better for charging that much for rent here there was poop in the hallways and pee at bottom next to elevator all most fell didn't see it don't know who can't pick up after there dam dog"

"I lived at the Carter for a little over a year and absolutely loved it. I lived on the top floor facing the pool, and it was very quiet — I virtually never heard my neighbors. The unit itself was well-designed and solidly built. The property management team is wonderful — by far the best I’ve ever experienced. They were always friendly, professional and accommodating, and they responded to maintenance requests and other issues extremely efficiently and effectively. It was a great experience."
