Solaris on University

"Lived here a couple years back. I honestly would have stayed here if I could. Apartments were a good size considering proximity to the university, really quiet, and safe. Also had great neighbors. If I moved back to Arizona, I'd consider living here again."

"This is a wonderful complex to live in! It is affordable, safe and close to ASU. The manager of the property, Mike Wells, was always extremely responsive, kind and easy to work with! The maintenance staff, Jerry, was always a joy and quick to fix whatever problem you were having. This was a complex and team I could trust. I would recommend living here!"

"Lived here for 3 years. The apartments are small, but its worth it for the sense of community. We knew almost all of our neighbors. Everyone was kind and looked out for each other. We even had a 4th of July BBQ together. The maintenance guy is also your neighbor, and he and his family are so dang sweet. He takes good care of you and your apartment. Now that we've moved to a different city, I find myself missing everyone regularly."

"I absolutely love this place. I’ve never experienced such a sense of community in any other apartment complex. I know almost all of my surrounding neighbors. We all look out for each other. Need some milk? Just knock on your neighbors door. It’s that chill here. Management is also amazing. Mike is always so polite and pleasant. Someone give this dude a raise. I’m never leaving till I’m ready to buy a house. Great job, Solaris.."

"The apartment complex is very dirty. I will change this review as soon as they clean up the grounds. The washing facilities are positively disgusting. I do not want to pay this much to live in a ghetto. I will post pictures of the grounds. Cat poop, dead trees, dead grass all year round. 3/4ths of the security lights do not turn on at night. The walkways are not swept and are piled high with dead leaves. It can be very depressing. Please just clean this place up and make it look like a normal apartment complex already! UPDATE- 08/07/14---THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX IS NOW CALLED SOLARIS ON UNIVERSITY. While they have made an effort to clean up the grounds I unfortunately must keep my low review, To have the AC for over 40 apartments go down to the point of my apt getting over 100F . 4 times!....within a month and a half.... in AZ.... in the summer... The worst part is this... The new management could not care less. To have your AC go out in AZ during the summer is incredibly serious and should be treated as such. When I have to miss work because I could not sleep in an apartment over 100F i expect to be compensated. At the very least an apology. I am not sure what my next course of action will be but I know I will be documenting this every step of the way."
