"My husband and I have lived at San Valencia Apartments since 2018. The front desk and maintenance team have been wonderful at addressing our needs. A special thank you to Angel on the maintenance crew for being so helpful and friendly these past few months. We hope San Valencia continues to provide great service. Update: Five Stars to Three Stars The maintenance team has always been helpful and on top of any requests we submitted. Every year, the air conditioning stops working in July. The maintenance team never takes longer than 30 minutes to address an emergency. They offer stellar customer service. The property is always beautifully maintained. I will miss our walks around the neighborhood. We canceled our lease renewal for the next year and gave our 60-day notice to vacate in November. Over the last year, we've experienced a lack of trust and communication with the front office team. Management is aware of our grievances. I would suggest to future tenants to have a doorbell camera."

"I would never live in a Mark Taylor community ever again. I used to love Mark Taylor and I’ve stayed in a few of their properties across the valley. San Valencia made it the worst experience ever. I signed my lease for a certain amount and every month the rent has exceeded what I signed for. No explanation from the staff on why it’s higher every month. On top of it all I never knew they accepted partial payments. I was laying on my death bed in the hospital for months and not one time have the staff helped or offered any resource. Then to get an email letting me know they’re stopping partial payments in January? That’s absurd! This entire time I’ve been healing from surgery and getting back to normal, catching up on bills. I was always told I have to pay in full or occur late fees. I’ve paid over $3,000 for the past few months because I was never aware of them offering partial payments. So I’m guessing it applied to only certain residents? Was it because of my race? For all the hell I’ve went through, I’ll be sure to let everyone across Arizona to stay away from Mark Taylor. I will forever leave a negative comment and remark, every chance and everyday I get, I promise you that! You guys played me and lied straight to my face on multiple occasions. So glad I finally got a house and can stay far away from their communities."
