"I was extremely disappointed time and time again when I lived here. Front staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Maintenance is a hit or miss. The gates are broken 70% of the time. The lights in the stairwells are broken all the time. There is trash and dog poop all over the property. The laundry rooms are always dirty, and the machines are always broken. Their "brand new" appliances and fixtures are just old ones with "the maintenance special:"... paint over top of everything. I had to fix most of the apartment issues myself, because no one would come fix anything. Good luck getting help from front staff, because they will hang up on you, give you attitude, or just never answer your calls or emails. SO many health code violations, as well, considering the previous renters cigarette butts were in my DISHWASHER after I told maintenance I was having issues with it, and they came to look at it multiple times and never said anything about it, until right before I moved out. not worth it."

"This is the absolutely worse place to live. I saw bad reviews before moving in and decided to give 505 West a try anyway, but that was a mistake. So PLEASE read this review and don't make the same mistake I did, by living in this terrible place. The front staff are the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. They are notorious for hanging up on you when you call about emergencies or simple questions as a resident. They give attitude and even start yelling when they don't want to deal with issues at hand. They also constantly lie just to get people to move in. I was told that the apartment I was moving into was remodeled, had all new appliances, and that they would be installing an in unit washer and dryer within 1 to 2 months of living there. That was a complete lie. I lived there for about a year and was told every month that a washer and dryer would be installed, until the 8th month of living there, they then said that they are never installing a washer and dryer in unit and then denied that they ever said they were going to do that in the first place. In regard to new appliances, nothing was new. I had issues with my dishwasher from the first day of move in. It was broken and I had to put in 6+ work orders throughout my time living there. On one of the last times maintenance came to check on the dishwasher, they found CIGARETTES jammed in the workings of the dishwasher from a previous resident. HEALTH CODE VIOLATION. Something else you should be aware of is the trash. There was constantly trash throughout the community. In the grass, parking lot, in the laundry rooms AND inside the apartment washer and dryers, outside apartment doors, and always overfilling in the actual trash bins. They also leave the gates unlocked and so random people would bang on our doors very late at night until 3 or 4 in the morning. They also don't replace the outdoor lights, so it is very dark and quite frightening at night when just anyone off the street can enter the community and you can't even see where you are walking."

"The rental rate for this property doesn't reflect the price of the real estate market or the quality of the facilities. In my first year renewal, the rent increases by approximately 11%, despite the poverty of amenities, including a small, unclean gym and pool. The parking lot is littered with trash. Other thing to mention is that sometimes the aisle lights won't work for days to a week without resolution. One major issue of this property is the maintenance. Upon my initial arrival, I discovered that the apartment door does not securely lock. Despite submitting an emergency service request, no one attended to take a look to see what is the issue. After personally approaching the lease office and speaking with the manager, Dani, I was informed that the maintenance team would only address the problem within 24 hours if it were deemed an emergency. I tried to explain if the apartment door does not securely lock is not an emergency what it could be then!!!! Overall, the maintenance service is severely lacking, and residents often face delays of up to a month for simple requests. The customer service is equally disappointing. While assurances are given in the office that issues will be resolved, follow-ups are consistently required, as promises go unfulfilled. Another thing to mention pertaining "Deposit", I experienced a deduction of approximately $200 from my deposit, despite dedicating around two hours to cleaning the apartment and "I believe I've left the unit cleaner and better shape than when I took it. When discussing these charges with the manager, it became evident that they were unjustified, including claims of a minor scratch on the wall. In summary, this place warrants no more than one star. It is advisable for potential tenants to thoroughly inspect the property, assess amenities, and consider the numerous issues before deciding to move in."

"I love living here and being able to utilize all the facilities like the pool, gym, and tennis court. Also, the maintenance service is great! Raul, is a blessing to 505. Today he came in and fixed everything really fast. God bless him and his family."
