Sunrise on 35th Apartments

"The unit I moved into is a classic, which is not what is shown on the website, but comfortable. Appliances work as they should, water heats reliably, plenty of working outlets. Martha is a pleasure to work with. She is warm, friendly, accommodating and efficient making tedious work more enjoyable and less mundane. She is caring and responsive. Very helpful and accommodating. Having some AC issues with my unit, but management is being proactive to address the issue and remedy it, so very pleased with that. A few bugs, but there is a pest service that is offered and other solutions available. The property itself is quite nice, especially the main common areas. Residents themselves could do a lil more to clean up after themselves or teach their kids to, but otherwise very relaxed, considerate, friendly place I’m grateful to call home. Covered parking. Some lights need some attention. On-site laundry is convenient and does the job. Favorite thing about the property are the cats that roam around and have made the place their own. ***update Switching my rating to three stars. AC unit started leaking and been out of commission since early October. They’re still working on it as of 01/16/2024. Car got towed New Years weekend for ‘being in a fire lane’ right out front under marked parking space underneath an overhang right outside of entrance. Seen many people park in this space. The actual parking spot has an individual yellow curb, but the curb behind is painted red. Great $180 welcome to 2024 present. Space needs to be marked better. Still see others parking there, hopefully they don’t get towed. ** thank you for your response - office should have my number if they want to reach out. thanks. *** yeah, still haven’t heard anything for whatever reason. thanks. *** Water gets shut off at random times without notice - like after you shave your head and need a rinse and now can’t. Still waiting on that call."

"Martha did a great job with the tour and I was approved the next day, however it's been two weeks after i've sent all my documents and I was not sent a lease. I have sent emails and left voice mails requesting a call back and nothing. I called today to express my concern and requested to get my administration fee back. Martha responded "that's not how it works" and hung up mid way through me speaking. If they take over two weeks to send a lease it makes me wonder how long their maintenance requests take. Additionally the floor plans are nothing like the models themselves."
