"I started w/ Dr Lim and her office manager Martina, when my little was an infant. They are excellent with regard to availability, knowledge and skill. Upon entering the establishment, it is not remodeled,it's probably the same as it was in the 80s down to the CareBear and Strawberry Shortcake murals. If ascetics are what matters to you, don't waste your time. However, if thorough integrated care w/ a focus on lifestyle and nutrition are more your goals, this is an excellent place. She is the only physician and administers everything herself, no medical assistance do any vaccines or screenings. If there is something pressing and you don't mind waiting, same day appointments are usually available with her directly or even via phone. She has certifications and training as an MD and in hematology, childhood oncology, as a naturopathic doctor, metabolic training and I just saw autism and sensory awareness certs posted. She is a lifelong learner that is passionate about being a physician. Dr Lim is active in her community and known for her philanthropy, she is a veteran and speaks English, Mandarin and some Spanish. She offers supplements for purchase at her location as well which are of high quality and lower cost than at most stores (totally optional, never forced, just an option). At the front desk Martina has saved the day for us many times over the years, she is reliable and caring and has always been helpful. Now my extended family comes to see her, all the cousins see Dr Lim and she remembers them all by name as well as their individual situations/needs. I can't say enough nice things and am so grateful we crossed paths. Pediatricians like this are a dying breed, so if you're tired of seeing the PA instead of the Dr or if getting an appointment is out for weeks every time and urgent care is your only option, this is a great choice."

"Wow, so shocked at the way I was just talked to by the Dr. I had taken my nephew there for his first check up since getting custody of him. She was nice and thorough with everything. We did lab work and the second check up was to go over lab work. I had expressed a family blood disorder to her and she must've not read her notes or wrote it down because we had to explain it all over again to her after she was looking at the lab work and noticing abnormalities. She was gonna refer us to a hematologist which was exactly what I wanted but the place she referred us to didn't have an appt for months. So I called another hematologist to see if they accepted our insurance and when they said yes, I called the Dr. back to get a referral there instead. She said she needed to see my nephew all over again and referrals were a process and I didn't need a referral and can go to another Dr and just pay for it out of pocket. I explained to her that we had visited her not too long ago and just wanted to switch the referral to another hematologist, which was something she suggested at the 2nd appt when I told her I had already seen someone for the disorder. She said it would be good to send my nephew to the same hematologist since it's a family thing. So now that I'm asking for the referral and explained that I couldn't wait on the other one she referred us to, she told me to call my insurance and ask for another physician. She told me I was being difficult and referrals ask alot of questions and I should go ask my insurance for another physician. So rude."

"I take my three kids to Dr. Lim and have only had good experiences. I drive an hour to see her and can usually get in same day over the phone."

"I was impressed with Dr. Ruth Tan Lim. She is respectful of parent's decisions. She took her time with us and was very informative. She has valuable knowledge and goes over more than just the basics. She saw my newborn today for a well visit and we were treated very well. Thank you."

"Dr Lim is a great doctor and uses complete wellness. Eating right is huge. Our children have been patients for the past 4.5 years. We drive 40 minutes to her office. She is the only doctor at this office. She uses integrated medicine in her practice. Her probiotics, capsules and other supplements have been amazing for my kids. I am giving 4 stars as it's usually a long wait which can be hard especially with kids and her office needs a reno. We love the office lady and Dr Lim."
