"The front reception staff are so rude and unprofessional it's legitimately shocking. My kids have gone here since birth. Recently I needed my child's med records sent to a doctor in a different state and they simply would not cooperate. They said to fill out forms online but gave no website or instructions. Then they insisted I fly to the office, while I'm out of state. I asked for instructions and get put on hold and transferred 3x. Meanwhile my child (their old patient) is in immense pain and waiting for these records to see a new physician. Totally insensitive and uncaring. I would avoid these people."
"We absolutely LOVE Dr. Lococo and Dr. Day and haven’t had to wait to get in during normal business hours. However, both times I’ve had to go in for shortened holiday/weekend hours for a sick visit for my daughters we had a great experience with NP Mary, BUT the Rx was never put in either time and my kids have had to wait multiple days to get needed Rx to feel better. I’ve called the answering service multiple times to try to get a hold of the on call nurse or doc but NEVER got a call back. Triage and answering service is a JOKE. Otherwise we love this office, so you’re better off just going to PCH urgent care if it’s not business hours to be served correctly."
"First, I want to say that I use to LOVE Pediatric Associates. My mother took me and my 2 sisters here since we were little. I absolutely loved the doctors here as a child. I now have 2 children of my own and it was a no brainer that my children would now go to Pediatric Associates. Dr. Leonard, Pam and Dr. Kelly have always been great with my children. It’s unfortunate that Dr. Kelly is no longer at PA.. Recently, I have experienced horrible customer service from the front office staff. They are so rude and condescending. It’s pulling teeth to get them to answer a simple question. For example, I called in the morning to make an appointment for my son in the afternoon for them to not actually schedule the appointment? I live 35 minutes away from the doctors office and I use to not mind the commute since it was worth my children getting care from the great doctors there. The doctors are great, but actually getting to the appointment and dealing with the office staff is no longer worth it to me. Reconsider your choice coming here if you do not want to deal with horrible customer service when you call or check-in. The list can go on with the stories of the office staff in the past couple of years. I have decided to look for another pediatrician for my children that has a competent front office staff."
"We switched to this office after a bad experience in another office- We could not be happier. The staff is always so nice and the check in process and rooming is always SO efficient. It’s amazing to not get stuck in a waiting room forever with a toddler. We never have trouble getting in for sick visits. One night out of desperation I walked in and they still saw us. Dr. Day is our normal pediatrician and we love her. She’s so confident and knowledgeable. We also have love Dr. Lococo and Dr. Padrez for sick visits. we are so grateful we found this office!"
"I miss Dr. Kelly, she was my children's doctor for 6 years and I was told she no longer works there. Hope she is doing well. Now our new doctor is Dr. Day she is a great doctor, listens to my question and takes the time with my kiddos making them comfortable. However, my child recently got sick, and was seen by doctor richard Leonard, he is very rough and aggressive when checking my child,When doing the covid flu swap he made my son nose bleed and blamed my son was moving. He does not listen to any concerns questions. He just walks out of the room while I am still talking to him. Very rude. I would not recommend Dr. Leonard to anyone with little babies and toddlers his just to rough and makes them feel worse. I would recommend Dr. Day."
