"Passable I guess if you just need a roof over your head. But even then they'll probably screw you over money-wise. Awful management however. The final straw was stating there was no problems during moveout inspection and then keeping my entire security deposit and trying to tack on an extra $300 for an itemization that definitely did not apply to my apartment. While we lived there I didn't get my mail key for 3 months. They left our bathtub leaking and molding after multiple maintenance requests. The office was empty during their stated hours more often than not. Outside of management issues I came home to crime scene units out in front multiple times, watched a resident slit someone's tires in the parking lot, and was threatened by my neighbors. Me and my roommate moved out about 3 months before our lease was up. We kept paying, we just didn't want to be there."

"The owner of the property corrected our refund issue. My husband had to take a day off from work to wait for the electric company to come to check the electrical panel,which is not located in our apartment. Was never called that no one was coming. A day of pay lost. The office needs to improve on communicating with residents. We can get emails for decorations and mailboxes but nothing when it comes to waiting on people coming to our home."

"Terrible. They painted the inside of my sink and charged me a $300 security deposit to repaint it. Meanwhile, sewage was coming up through my bathtub and was never fixed. Even after I let management know. I my end up in small claims court over this B.S. Ridiculous. Worst. Landlord. Ever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY."

"I wouldn't move here. They change management so much and never fix anything when u ask. They always have new maintenance person or none at all. When. I first moved here the place was cool, but slowly went down hill. They wouldn't fix anything. A lot of my neighbors moved out because of how the apartments are. When Monique was management she was great she actually cared about the people there but after she left it's like everyone after her and the owner didn't care about anyone there. Don't move here especially if u have kids. Not kid friendly."

"utility bills are questionably expensive. Electric, water, trash, sewage and 25$ delivery box service fee that we never used are paid to equinox apartments and not directly to utility companies. One February we paid 130$ for electric when we rarely turn on the heater and were on vacation for two weeks. In the summer our electric was 155$, i found out the next door neighbors was the exact same amount to the dollar, only off by a couple cents. Made me wonder if we split the bill with the neighbors. I asked management a couple of times to show proof of our usage because it was way too much and they said they couldn’t provide us that information. I even emailed Art a couple of times and no response. I now live in a home with the same square footage but my bills are directly with TEP and my bill is now 90$ in the winter. 40$ in profit a month per tenant sounds like big money in their pockets for not moving a finger and fraud to me. other than that it is a decent place. Just too expensive for what it is."
