"This is a lovely complex to live in, I am shocked by some of these reviews. The ladies who run this place are more than accommodating and I've noticed that ever since they bought this complex they have made some great changes; like fixing the gate to get in and out, keeping up with the garden, and being very responsive to any issues. I had lost my front door key and they got me a new one in five minutes, are very accepting of my cats, and overall lovely people to be around. The maintenance lives on site and is constantly taking care of the place. Prices are very fair to live here and neighbors are very respectful. Couldn't recommend it more"
"I contacted and viewed apts. They said they accepted section 8. (They have not even been approved). I spoke in person twice with Angela. Ask if I needed to put down a deposit. Nope we collect all money at time of move in. Was told ny the manager. I could move in on April 5 then the 10th. Called yesterday told the manager I didn't have all the money. But I would get it. Now my move in date was supposed to be tomorrow. I called to check when section 8 inspection would be done. Thats when I was told they are still waiting to be approved. I contacted everyone I knew to get the deposit together and was ready to move in tomorrow. They have been advertising section approved. Not"
"I LOVE my apartment! I have been here for going on 2 years. While I can agree that we have had several managers, I believe they have all been with the same company and they have just switched properties. All of them have been beyond friendly and helpful. My neighbors are great, quiet and friendly. I agree that the appliances are dated, but mine work fine and are in nice condition so no complaints in that area either. I feel very safe and happy here. I do agree that the ducts could use a cleaning because I have an ongoing "musty" type smell but have zero leaks anywhere of any kind. I have never seen a bug or any other kind of pest. The laundry mat is very clean and affordable. I have never seen anyone in the stairwells and I come and go at all hours. I do my laundry sometimes after 10 p.m. and am never afraid to walk back and forth. I have tons of storage space and a beautiful sun room that is heavenly. I believe my apartment is about 800 square feet which is really big for a one bedroom. I plan on living here as long as I can as long as it stays this way or gets better."
"Nicholosi and Fitch have only managed the property for the last 3 years, and things have been going steadily downhill ever since. The trees which shaded the community have either been cut down or are dying for lack of water. The maintenance is abysmal, and tenants are forced to live with decades old appliances that are moved from apt. to apt. The a/c in the laundry room breaks whenever it gets hot, and the dryer ducts were so full of lint that the room became a steam bath. Worst of all, the rapid succession of "managers" they have paraded through the property are rude, incompetent, and pathological liars. They don't care about the security of their residents, and when the psychopath son-in-law of one of the residents assaulted me in my own parking space, they did nothing to evict the resident or help me get an order of protection against him. Later, when I reported the same individual was on the property with a gun, management said it was his right and refused to ban him from the property! This neighborhood is unsafe. Non residents are frequently found in the stairways smoking or doing drugs, and for a while homeless were sleeping in the laundry room. The low rents used to make these small units attractive, but Nicholosi & Fitch are jacking up the rents and fees for services to "market rates" as quickly as they can. There is absolutely no reason anyone would want to live here anymore."
"Being a retired Property Manager, I have lived & worked at many, many different apartment complexes. I recently moved into Coronado Vista and absolutely love the place. It is beautiful & peaceful without feeling isolated. Walls & floors are insulated so I don't hear the neighbors at all. The workmanship of being restored is impeccable. The neighbors are friendly without being nosy. I love living here."
