"The Marquee on 5th is definitely the best place to live! Reanie is just amazing and the best property manager! If there is ever an issue she is quick to address it and get it resolved. She really cares about her tenants and is always professional, caring, efficient, knowledgeable, and just amazing. My family and I are so happy to be apart of this amazing community and it's becuase of Reanie and her staff. Thank you Reanie."
"If I could give this place a ZERO I would. I am appalled at the way I was treated on the phone. My roommate and I had our hearts set on the Marquee on 5th. We were simply asking questions about move in and Reanie snapped at us and completely disrespected potential customers. Because of this, we have decided to completely steer away from this apartment complex. Don’t even bother trying to ask Reanie anything, she will make you feel incredibly stupid for any question you ask her. Absolutely disgusting way to treat people. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live."
"This literally is the best apartments I have lived at everything is new and nice the up keep is great. I literally enjoy coming home every day. They literally have the best staff. Reanie roseberry is the lovely lady that works in the office. She is so nice and sweet. You can literally tell she cares about her job and the people living here. She is always going out of her way to make sure we have anything and everything we need. When we put in work orders it gets don’t correctly the first time and fast. Mark is the maitinece man here and it’s only him but he literally is a miracle worker. My ac was down for a bit I was loosing sleep over it. Told the office and when I came home from work that same day I ac was work and my apartment was cold woke up the next morning to an email checking and making sure that everything was ok. You can’t find that in people now a days you really can’t. They literally are the best staff ever. I would never move out of these apartments simply based on the staff:) when you see Reanie walking around the apartments she will always stop and say hi no matter what she has going on and she will ask about our days and always tell us to have a great day. People don’t care like that these days can truly say it’s a blessing living here cause of Reanie and Mark. I appreciate you guys so so much. I always tell you guys good job In the emails but wanted to take a second to let the world know how great you guys are!! So grateful and appreciate you guys so so much!! Best staff ever!!!"
"To the positive reviews: what good is the remodel and nice fixtures, when the A/C never works?… among other things, Lol. We leased a newly renovated apartment and things were Ok ish for maybe 3 months but then the roaches started. We are very clean tenants. Roaches infest the apartments. They are stepped on all around outside of the apartments on walkways as well. Be aware that regardless of the updates and renovations, the buildings themselves are old and so are the roaches which live in the piping, according to our leasing agent. They are literally everywhere. Good luck with the A/C unit working all summer! During our time there, it got so unlivable that our family had to spend two nights at a local hotel in order to stay cool. The ENTIRE COMPLEX operates off of the “chiller system” instead of central AC which doesn’t work well and breaks down frequently. If you’re familiar with this type of system, it must be switched to ‘cool’ or ‘heat’ by the technician and it affects the entire complex. If you are cold, too bad no heat for you. If you’re too hot, sorry it’s not the “right time” for the manager to switch the system over to AC. That’s how the system works. They had repairmen out almost every day and would rather let us suffer than just get a new unit for the residents. They would “put a bandaid” on it but then two days, it broke down yet again! This was a recurrent theme throughout the year. Lots of cigarette and marijuana smoking allowed on patios. It WILL waft into your apartment. Dogs off leashes. Loose dogs running through out the complex. Pool is green and always closed. Front desk is rude and not helpful. Never could contact the correct people to obtain our deposit back either. They will surely steal it from you. Very dishonest practice. If it were me, I wouldn’t spend $1400/ month for roaches, smoke and hardly any parking. Your vehicle will likely get vandalized as did many other residents. Do not recommend. Beware"
"Update: To whoever posted that your apartment is around 80F- good for you! Mine has reached 85F-90F every day for the last week. The 4th of July was absolutely miserable and my plans for cooking and enjoying the day were ruined. Renters beware!!! : ( Yes, I put in a service request and there have been texts about "fixes", but it has not been fixed yet. Tenant here for over a year. This place would get five stars if the a/c system was functional. It is now May and it is already unbearably hot in my apartment. Last summer the apartment regularly reached the 80s. The complex a/c runs on an ancient chiller system that constantly needs repairs during the summer. Expect frequent a/c outages in any of the units here. I have spoken to other tenants who have had to get hotel stays as a result of this issue. Why won't Scotia replace the outdated a/c system? Especially if charging ~1440$ for a 2 bedroom. I would stay as a tenant long term if this issue was fixed, but as it is I will be looking for another place to rent at the end of my lease."
