"Do NOT move here! Terrible experience. I left as soon as my lease ended. I had a major fruit fly issue that I did EVERYTHING to get rid of. I had nothing sitting out, no plants and no food, cleared the drains, covered the drains, sealed the windows and doors, bought so many fly traps, had someone come in and spray but they kept coming. There were unexplainable leaks that were so frustrating. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbor's alarm going off at 4:00 in the morning. Managment is unhelpful and it is extremely overpriced for what it is. On top of that, where my unit was located lacked natural sunlight, so it was extremely dark and depressing in there. Honestly, the worst experience living here. I would not ever recommend living here to anyone. Please do not move to Hilands."

"I've lived in numerous apartments and this is by far the best I've lived in. It's clean, it quiet, homey. They have fun activities almost every month. They're super helpful, every person, whether it's the office or maintenance, super helpful. Been living here for almost 2 years (the longest I've been in a single complex) and I plan to stay longer! Thank you all for everything you do. It's just an amazing community. Highly recommend the Hilands!"

My husband and I are in the process of making a swift and somewhat unexpected multi-state move from San Antonio, TX. Consequently, there's been a whirlwind of arrangements to sort through. We found Hilands as just one apartment among many in our search. Honestly, if you've lived in one apartment, you've lived in most of them. Where Hilands excelled was that with one phone call, we connected with Michael, and were able to find out that they did have what we needed, it was available when we needed it to be. What really stuck out to us though, was how remarkably smooth, straightforward, and, most importantly, stress-free the application process was, once we decided to move forward. The stress-free aspect is particularly invaluable to us at this time. I also value being given firm deadlines on when I can expect callbacks, and having those deadlines followed up on. If Michael said he was going to reach out by a certain time, I could count on that. Once again, thank you sincerely for all your invaluable assistance.
