"Worst apartments ever we had a leak since we had moved in and they took 10 months to fix it even though we had reminded them about that leak every single month. Front office staff is very rude and unprofessional and they do not answer the phones I moved out 2 months ago and was told I was going to receive my 150$ deposit but still have yet to receive it."
"THE WORST APARTMENTS Moved in a year and 8 months ago with my girlfriend. Our dishwasher didn't work properly 3 months in. A year later and five different repair guys, the dish washer finally works. People don't respect the assigned parking so you have to sometimes park somewhere else and tell the office about it. In the span of a year, this place has had at least 3 different managers. So each manager would have no idea about your previous inquiry. The current manager is currently is rude and very unpleasant to talk to. I wouldn't Recommend this place to anyone."
"This will be long as my battle with this complex spans months… I signed a lease with this complex in February 2017. Everything seemed to be going well until September of 2017. I came home after a weekend out of town on September 18 to find my apartment flooded with water still raining down from the unit above. 80% of the carpet in my apartment was soaked, bubbles of water formed on the walls and ceiling and dripping water through the electric light fixtures and the ceiling fan (I have pictures and videos of all this). My bed, my tv and my dinner table were all ruined and the unit smelled awful. I went to the front office to let them know and at this point a lady named Carol was there. After she surveyed the damage she said she’d have it all fixed up and deodorized. It was my belief that my unit needed extensive repairs and uninhabitable. I asked if I could move to another unit and she said I could but it would be a 250 dollar transfer fee, plus deposits, plus a new lease. I asked to be let out of my lease and was told I would be assessed a penalty. She later said I could move to a new unit at no cost, but that was later reneged. I told Carol I have a son that stays with me and the unit was in no condition to be lived in by an adult let alone a child. Her response: “that’s apartment living for you.” I was upset to say the least but it turns out Carol had no power to make those decisions and the property manager, “Cheryl” was the one with authority. I asked multiple times to speak with Cheryl but was denied everytime. They brought in carpet cleaners to suck up the water and two industrial strength blowers were installed to dry everything. They ran day and night for a week. They were kind enough to put me in another unit while repairs were done, although the AC in that unit didn’t work. I told Carol Multiple times that the AC didn’t work and she said she’d take care of it but she never did. I was not compensated for being displaced for a week nor was I compensated for my electric bill that doubled because of the blowers inside. The repairs consisted of the bubbly paint being peeled off and repainted. The dry wall was never opened up, no mold test was ever done and the musty smell didn’t leave my unit for a month . Cause of the flooding was a burst water heater in the unit above. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but I did and moved on. In 2018 I start getting renewal letters and even after all the problems I went through, I wanted to stay because finding a new place, paying a deposit, application, etc. I was paying 600 dollars a month, the renewal said I could renew at 625 a month and the market rate was now 650. So I was going to renew because surely this wouldn’t happen again. It did. In April 2018 another leak from the above unit flooded my apartment again. This one wasn’t as bad and this time I was only out of my unit for 2 days. By this time Carol is gone and now I’m dealing with Debbie who is nicer than Carol. After this second incident I told Debbie I would not renew my lease unless I was given a new unit with no transfer fee. Management came back saying the fee would be waived but I still had to pay a 150 dollar administration fee. I argued that this was unacceptable as I would not have to pay that fee should I just renew and stay at that unit. After all I wasn’t asking for new unit on a whim. This unit was clearly problematic. So Debbie takes the request to Cheryl and they come back with this: Pay the 150 admin fee and we’ll refund in 2 weeks for ‘accounting purposes’. I agreed. When I went in to sign the renewal papers another issue came up. I’d be paying 650 a month and not the promised 625. 25 dollars is not a big deal but at this point after the nightmare I had gone through, I felt I deserved what I was promised and management would not budge. I asked multiple times to speak with ‘Cheryl’ the property manager and multiple times I was denied. At one point Debbie said “what can you tell her that you haven’t told me?” My Lease ended on May 31st and I moved out immediately."
"I moved in with a service dog and was never told I couldn't walk her on the grounds, a manager told me I had to walk her on the hot asphalt in the summer. I asked the manager if I could leave my lease early and she said no way, I then found out my lease was up 2 months earlier and they made me pay an extra month before I could leave. I never received any notice about it being up or extending month to month. When I asked why that was done I was told it was my own stupidity and ignorance. I cleaned my apartment really good and when I gave the keys the one manager said it looked great and now the main manager just sent me a bill for 844.00 dollars and said if it isn't paid by 19th I'm going to collections. I am going to get an attorney for the first time in my life. I have never lived anyplace like this before. They are very disliked by most of the tenants and it shows because of so many empty apartments. They also have had about six different employees quit in the office because of the main manager."
"I had the one bedroom with all the windows (I forgot what that was called) on the second floor. It had a great view. The windows could light up my house quite well. The neighbors were all friendly. Some of the retirees who lived there made it their mission to keep the place nice and safe. It was quiet. I never was woken up by loud music or neighbors screaming. Also, the staff was super-friendly and fixed any problem I had within a day every time. My only two issues were that they did not have a recycling dumpster and the laundry room was out-dated. The laundry machines were old and required coins. They told me that they were going to upgrade the machines when I moved in, and it did not happen within my year lease. Also, they closed the laundry room a little too early for me. Considering that my two issues were not big ones and that I had a great time living there, I give it full points."
