"My son is moving in for his sophomore year. We were added to a waiting list for "early move in". Great! Thank you! Normal move in is Aug 18. He's getting there Aug 16 at midnight flying all day from Paris, France. Now they tell us they want a $250 early move in fee. This was the first time I've heard of that. I called them. Is that $250 for the whole apartment? No, they said, for EACH student moving in early. But...the whole apt has to be ready right? Uh....yes...but...I think it's egregious and I hope the manager of Urbane reads this. Do they really have to stick up student tenants who are paying north of $11,000 per year plus for a ¢250 damn early move in fee? What exactly is the logic of that. I think Urbane should try to create a little GOOD WILL with their tenants. Ever heard of that Mr. Manager?"
