"My daughter started with Scottsdale KinderCare earlier this year in the toddler room. She had been out of daycare for few months. The whole staff was very supportive of the transition and made it easier for both her and us. We later moved her to the Desert Ridge location and the teachers and staff here as well were really great and helped my daughter cope with the change in a week. Since then she has been on an incredible learning journey !! We have seen her grown not only in her physical ability but also emotionally and cognitively !!"

"Stay FAR away. We toured this facility in July 2022 and did not need care until July 2023. No one could tell me if there was a waitlist or if he was guaranteed a spot, management kept saying they would send paperwork and never did, and lastly this daycare feels like a depressing hospital compared to the one my son currently attends. A month or so ago I received a survey about my experience on their "waitlist." What waitlist? No one ever called me to tell me we were either on it or got a spot. There are so many other wonderful daycares in the valley that do not take advantage of anxious first time moms."

"I do not recommend Kindercare for infants. They are understaffed and would have a floater staff go to the class to help. The babies are constantly crying and are left to “cry it out”, which they call “self soothing”. Babies are not able to self soothe, they need help to learn how to sooth themselves! The babies are not attended to or cared for emotionally, as you would expect them to. Babies who are not yet able to sit on their own are left in their cribs most of the time and left to cry. My infant son went there for 4 months and would cry every time I dropped him off in the mornings. In the first month we were already having problems. I bought brand new bottles to be used specifically at the day care and I immediately noticed that all of the nipples were slit. After 2 weeks, I spoke to them about it and they gave us credit to our tuition and told us that they would retrain the staff and talk to them. Then after 2 weeks of no issues, we noticed that there were slits in the nipples again. Again we told them about it, they applied the credit again, but never apologized for it happening again and never said anything to us about it. There was a teacher that mentioned to me that the nipple hole is too small and that his jaw would get tired and he would not want to eat. We never had any problems with that nipple size before! So to appease her I bought the next nipple size up to see if it would make a difference, and it didn’t. My baby is a contact sleeper and never slept there. I spoke to the Director and asked them to work with us, they said they would but there was no real change. My son’s lack of sleep affected his eating (drinking milk) and he would hardly eat. One of the teachers would tell us numerous times that he doesn’t want to eat, and we would reiterate that it’s because he’s not sleeping. We also noticed that he would only be offered/ given 2 bottles when I sent 3. I asked them to continue to offer him the bottles every 2-3 hours. They only offered it for 1 day and the next day they didn’t give him the third bottle. Lastly, my son started in March and we were not told that there would be an annual registration fee. The Director mentioned about the fee to us in one of our discussions, we asked if we still needed to pay the fee since he started late in the year, and she said she would get back to us. We messaged her numerous times through the app, following up and she did not respond for 2 weeks. No follow up or acknowledgment, telling us that she is still waiting to hear back or anything. She only responded saying that we did have to pay it after 2 weeks. That is poor customer service. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because there is one of the teachers who appeared to care for my baby and would give me and my husband updates. She would also ask us for any tips or suggestions on how to get him to sleep. Other than that, they don’t deserve it."

"This was the first daycare my daughter ever went to, and I’m so grateful! We unfortunately moved away and had to take her out of the preschool program, but still to this day, even months later talks about her teachers and friends she made. Every person at Desert Ridge was so kind, and made me feel safe and secure leaving my daughter under their care. The teachers always paid special attention to every kid in the class, especially her since she was so nervous being around others for the first time. I loved seeing pictures of her daily reading books and dancing to songs, her art projects, and with new friends. It helped her socially thrive and to learn so much. They were always so responsive and so understanding. I’ll always recommend this facility to anyone who lives in this area!"

"Absolutely love this daycare! My son loves his teachers. They are friendly, caring, and always on top of everything. I love seeing photos of my little one everyday. Makes me feel like I’m apart of his day even when I’m at work!"
