"Just to balance the above opinion...I've been going here three years and never had a med crisis. I believe the doctor (who is Jewish and gratefully not an outright secularist) is competent, kind, and discreet. The one negative thing about this place is that it's difficult to communicate with them via any kind of media, so a change of appointments or meds in between appointments can be a problem. Perhaps this is what the above review is pointing to. (Neither do they take Medicare.)"

"I have been a patient of Dr. Rosengard for 10 years. He is kind, conscientious, and a great Psychiatrist. I travel 93 miles one way to see him because it is too hard to find as good a doctor as he is. Yes sometimes it is frustrating to get refills in between appointments, but I still think he is the best."

"I am not sure I can agree with the one star review, it seems he had a poor experience and is trying to bring the rate down out of anger. In general, this office is small and affordable, which does not produce extremely quick service, but is perfect for the average Joe who needs a little help in life. 4/5 simply due to communication discrepancies. Don't be turned away by the size of the practice nor one man's emotional review - Dr. Rosengard is kind and extremely knowledgeable."

"I can be hard to get an initial appointment here... if you come in as friend/family of an established patient it’s very quick. I’ve seen Dr Rosengard since 2012, and he is an excellent doctor. He knows his meds (doesn’t just pick whatever a rep recently gave him). He has a calm demeanor with a dry humor (so dry you might not even realize he’s joking!). I have never felt judged or shamed. He did ask one of my family members who started seeing him to explain their gender dysphoria, which she didn’t like, but I was in the room and he just came across as asking for clarification (for him, and possibly for her). He is not a counselor, just helps with medication. As someone mentioned earlier, it is extremely hard to get a real person on the phone. You have to call and leave a message. However, they are pretty prompt in getting back to you. I’ve never had him bill me for phone calls. You do have to make appointments for med refills a few times a year even if things are stable. But if I’m ever out of meds they get me in pretty fast. Staff is polite, never had any problems, and appointments are usually on time within 10 minutes. I totally recommend him to anyone 13 and up with mental health issues that medication may help with!"
