"Al Ku is absolutely correct but it's far worse. TARGETED ORGANIZED WORK PLACE HARASSMENT were the words echoed by a former STATE employee who was recorded during a conversation with two other former employee, concerning another former employee who for two years suffered the worse case of workplace abuse I've heard of in years and subsequently terminated on a false pretense with zero proof provided even upon request. This individual for 65 min broke it down how it works what they do and even spoke how human resources is fully aware and aids in the premeditated sociopathic demise of employees they don't like. Punish them for showing up to work late AFTER call FMLA because they had a heart then written up and punished. Walking to work with clots in their legs for 2.5 hours after valley metro shut the busses down during covid pandemic. In severe pain and no fault of their own, written up and punished. Put on unpaid leave as punishment for being late due to a hit and run collision involving the bus they were on and a vehicle. Kept in contact every step of the way, refused to allow another employee to pick them up using the personal vehicle just to make them late. Even after receiving an official letter from valley metro from the director cooperating their story. Violated HIPPA by intentionally releasing the results of an smi eval online before pulling it and it subsequently disappeared. Violated civil rights and encouraged the abuse. And that is just the tip of the iceberg."
"If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is very hostile and short staffed. Don't work here as a BHT unless you want to get seriously hurt. They don't value the BHT's at all only the nurses. The nurses are protected but BHT's aren't. The pay is terrible, and for a degree requirement it's a disgrace. 12hrs of this place will have you taking meds. The nurses are shielded in their bubble while the BHT's are brutally hurt. There's security but exactly what's exactly their role?. This place need real police not security guards that do nothing. Patients will attack you, spend the night in jail then come right back to terrorize. There's no repercussions. Don't waste your time here, you can do BETTER."
"My son is psychiatric care at ASH and has been there three years. He is 26. This place is warehousing people for the money. My son has been attacked by other residents at least once every two weeks. He files police reports, nothing happens. I'm disgusted they see fit to keep such a young man locked up like a dog. He takes his meds, works, goes to classes , and they continue to refuse his release. Disgusting!"

"As a concern citizen of Maricopa county This hospital doesn’t help clients at all it’s so dangerous there when my clients get discharged from there they are worse off with their mental illness then when they went there and if it wasn’t for the smi teams at my job helping these folks or trying to it would be a bigger problem to where some people they let out reoffend again and do not recover. The staff need to be paid more and so do the social workers. I am so fed up I hope they make changes to where the staff feel more safe and the clients there can get the proper help they need."
