"I was disappointed in the quality of the work they performed for the price I paid. Drawers are still difficult to open and bottoms of drawers are not secure and are still falling out with any pressure. Have called a couple times and no one responds. Not very happy."

"I found them on Angie's list and they asked us to take photos of our couches to refurbish in order to give a quote. We live out of town so had a friend come over to do this. Then I was told that there would be a fee for the tech to come out to quote but if they can't repair them, then we get our money back. When I asked for a rough estimate ahead of time in case the repair costs more than the couches could be replaced for, and knowing we wouldn't get our deposit back if we chose to cancel, they ignored us entirely. Not a professional company."

"My leather glider reclining loveseat handle had broken on the right side so I have called a few furniture repair places only to be told they didn’t do that type of repair or I never received a call back. I spoke with one company that did many repairs but stated they didn’t do that type of repair but then they recommended Speedy Furniture Repair. So I called and the lady was very nice and when I explained my problem she said they do handle that type of repair and was able to schedule a repairman to come out in a couple of days. Manny came out to our house and he was very friendly and professional and carefully turned our loveseat over and showed where the problem was and that the handle that controlled the recline mechanism needed replaced and he asked if he could take the handle with him to see if it matched up with one they had in stock to see if it would be a match otherwise he would need to order the part. He called me a couple hours later and stated they had one handle in stock that was a match and that he could return within the next 2 hours to complete the repair. He promptly arrived within the one hour of quoted time frame and with an assistant they installed the new part and then tested it a few times to assure it was working properly. They then turned my loveseat back over and put it back together as it came with a middle console with storage and cup holders. So they put it back together and moved it back to its original position. They were very professional and explained and showed us where it was broke and what needed to be repaired. They were very reasonable and gave us a military discount since we were retired military. We were very impressed with both their professionalism and excellent service. We will use them again in the future if needed and highly recommend their company. Happy to do business with them!!! "I had this business recover some couch cushions for me, the work of which initially seemed great. I washed them once and the seams started coming out, so I took them back to see if they would stand behind their work and fix them for me. They said yes, and then when I came back to pick them up when they called me the following week, they charged me for the work, and implied that I was lying about only having washed the covers once, which was somehow part of the explanation of why I was suddenly being charged. I would have appreciated better communication so that I knew that I would be charged, and how much, before I had no option but to pay because the repair had been done. If I had known up front they were planning to charge me further for fixing the inadequately sewn covers, I would not have chosen to have them work on them for that amount of money. I won't go back for any future repairs I need done. This is simply a matter of reasonable communication, and the negative experience could have been avoided."

"Speedy furniture repair did a wonderful job of replacing the straps on two Barcelona chairs when others had told us it was not possible. They located quality leather and did a nice job of the repair. Prices were quite reasonable and the work was completed quickly. We will definitely return to Speedy for any future repairs."
