"Tell me you don’t trust your customers without telling me you don’t trust your customers. Normally, we really like shopping at Curacao, and normally have no issues looking around at what we want, so this review is limited to their Black Friday events. Instead of being able to walk around freely and look at what we wanted to see, we were forced to stand in lines… yes, multiple lines. First, we had to wait about 10 minutes outside before they let us into the store. Second, we had to wait in another line for about 20 minutes to pick up a video game controller… a controller that was located within their electronics section, but it was already locked up in the back. We really didn’t have a chance to wander around and look at things. I was interested in looking at their computer stuff, as well, but there was another line for that, so, I really didn’t bother. On the positive side, the staff was really friendly and attentive, and they did a pretty healthy price match from a sale going on with Best Buy for the same product. In the end, I really like the store itself, but their black Friday way of doing things was crazy… certainly, one could say that it was a great way to prevent retail theft, but no other big retail store that we visited even came close to implementing these type of restrictions."
