We were driving by this shop, and decided to try one last place. We are so glad we found this place!! Great price for a super comfortable bed! "My wife and I found this place on accident walking across the street from Pruitt's Furniture to catch a bus to go home. First off, right when we walked in, there's almost ZERO room to walk around in the store, the walking areas were really narrow due to how full the floor was with floor displayed furniture, and we caught the owner Sleeping on one of the couches on the sales floor, he woke up of course about a minute or two after we announced ourselves which was fine I guess. I could tell business was really slow there was literally nobody in the store aside from my wife and I, The Store owner and his wife. Still..., against our better judgement, we proceeded to Purchase something from one of the many Catalogs he had since what I wanted was not actually in the store. He had to order it direct from ACME Furniture Catalog. Honestly the only issue I had while having him place my order was the length of time it would take. He claimed the order was arriving from China so he said it would take about 5-6 weeks to arrive. He also said he'd Deliver the Shelf and assemble it in my home which was fine since I had to wait so long for it to arrive. Now the receipt he gave us didn't have any of his store information on it, nor his name. again this place is more of a mom and pop kinda place. So instead he just gave us his card (which to be honest, we ended up losing) Anyway, so weeks go by my wife tried calling the shop over 6 times. He never once answered the phone. so we grew impatient and tried to go through the bank to get our money back. Sadly the bank said there was nothing they could do. Anyway another week or so rolls by, I get a call from the owner who's trying to find my apartment and he shows up with another old gentleman who is having a difficult time trying to get my shelf out of the vehicle due to the weight. (I admit, I was expecting a professional) I asked if he still planned on assembling it, and he told me no if I wanted it assembled I needed to pay 100 dollars. I said what do you mean? he claimed that Acme Furniture charged him a higher price than what was offered in the catalog, I said that's not really my problem. You told me it would be assembled upon delivery. So anyway at that point we were both frustrated and he just Dropped the stuff off and took off. I told the guy repeatedly that neither I nor my wife could put it together due to our health issues. he didn't care. So now I'm stuck with a Shelf I can't assemble and over 500 Bucks gone that I can't get back. PLEASE! IF YOU HAVE ANY WITS ABOUT YOU, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. You are better off Buying what you need online. or some other Major Furniture outlet. MY WIFE AND I WILL NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN. They day we were there at the store though, His wife did happen to give us a lift to Target up the street from the Store. which was very very nice of her. Both store owners are nice people, they just don't seem very professional or knowledgable in the business they are running. Again Please be weary of this place. I don't want anyone else to have to endure what me and my wife just had to go through."
