"I did not visit this establishment. Although they have good reviews, they would not give me an estimate on replacement cushions even though I had exact measurements and was somewhat educated on my preferred foam density. It is a 45 min drive to downtown Phoenix for me. I am not spending 3 plus hours of a my only day off plus the expense of gas for information they could have easily provided me. I simply wanted information/estimate so I could make a simple decision to buy new furniture or replace cushions. I opted to purchase after getting an on-line estimate from a verified foam company."

"I'm a heavier person who needed to replace the foam in my couch cushions that had given up after a few years in an otherwise perfectly fine couch. I brought the cushions here and received a reasonable quote for replacement. I was asked what kind of foam I wanted and was shown a pile of sample squares. I, not being the expert in this situation, stated my concerns of wanting something slightly firmer and more durable than what was in the cushion. The person made a recommendation and I trusted their expertise. It was noted that the thickness in the original foam did taper in the back, and it was asked if I wanted the replacement to taper as well. Again, not being the expert asked them back: 'if they are asking does it mean it was optional?'. And it was agreed that it didn't and if it did removing some material at home would be an option. They also did ask if I wanted them to stuff the new foam into the cover for an additional fee, but I declined but now regret it as I probably should've had them do it. Also if note, I never gave my name or contact information.. just a credit card receipt to have any confirmation of my order. Two days later I picked up my order, with a mix up on what I was picking up causing a separate charge to need to be reversed on my card...(again, no order / customer tracking) take my order home, and get to switching out the old foam. I discovered that the old foam had holes to allow cords through for the pillow top look that the new foam did not. The old foam was comprised of multiple foam types (a soft outer layer and a stronger inner layer) while the new foam was just one type, and waaaaaay firmer than what I had. I recognize I wanted firmer, but this had almost no give at all. The new foam was also block cut with hard corners and not rounded over like the old one, and due to the lack of taper it wouldn't fit in the cover without risking popping the zipper. If it was just the taper, I wouldn't be writing this review. I'd cut it down and be on my way... But the miscommunication on multiple points from my admitted lack of expertise and their lack of customer service still left me with cushions I'm not going to use that I'm out the money for that could have gone somewhere else that would have taken the time to work with me better. In the end the name of this place is very apt, just foam. If you want block shapes for a decent price you'll be fine here... Great even. But If you need a little hand holding and customization, then either work real hard to ensure you're getting what you need or seek elsewhere."
