"Spent hundreds of dollars to be bullied and berated by the owner of this company. Matthew Dearing or whatever. I enrolled in classes and did a masterclass with this studio. The Owner is a fake individual. Appears inspiring, maybe even charismatic. This man picked me to shreds, and bullied me until I cried in front of a live audience and live recorded viewing of our masterclass, and it wasn’t some attempt at motivating or critiquing me. He began personally attacking me for not practicing enough with my scene partner and being a bad person for bringing her down with me. It was the most discouraging and upsetting experience I’ve ever had in my life, it almost made me give up my dream of acting completely. Let alone the most awful things to say to a student. Consistently picked on me in front of the class for not being a better scene partner or trying harder. I was struggling with personal issues at the time and I disclosed this to him and another teacher there, but was still bullied in front of my peers for my efforts by this man. Save your time, money, and heart from enrolling here. You do not deserve to be bullied for anything out of your control, especially not by a teacher or OWNER. -10/10"
