Sentral Old Town Apartments

"My wife and I stayed here for our friends birthday. I noted that we'd arrive at 2 on their pre-registration form they and when we arrived at 4, the room wasn't ready. The room wasn't ready until 4:20-4:30. We had reservations at 5 that we missed because of this. Additionally, the room wasn't clean. The shower was filthy and the towels that were left were dirty with makeup on them. During check-in, I expressed my displeasure with the room not being ready and I was met with a very unapologetic "Ok." That was the actual response. "OK." Really??? Then, after finding the room in the state it was in, the other front desk person was very professional and helpful, except she said she'd have gift cards for me and would also work to get some sort of compensation. When I checked back in with her the following morning, a $100 refund was approved but no gift cards were given. The experience was very disappointing and I feel attempts to remedy the issues were very minimal and promises made were not kept."

"The good The rooms themselves were very spacious - definitely felt a little homelier than if we were in a hotel room. It made it very easy to spread out more without feeling like we were living out of a suitcase. We really enjoyed the bed, kitchen, and living room/smart room TV. The bad The parking system is terrible and expensive - you have to book through a third party app at $25/night and hope that no one's parked in your spot. People were clearly trying to get free parking since it doesn't look like they tow cars. If someone parked in your paid spot, you would have to cancel/refund your parking and rebook a new spot. Then you have to walk out of the parking lot and around from the side to the front to get to the lobby to check in, because the door between the parking lot and lobby is locked by a keyfob that you get at the front desk. There was no shampoo in the bathroom when we got in, and when we asked the front desk about it, they said they would be out of stock until the next day. Thankfully, the front desk person did get early stock and brought it up to our room. The sink in our bathroom was broken, and the sink drain stopper kept falling/clogging our sink. We had to make do by sacrificing a cup in the sink and leaving it there so that the sink would properly drain. Our room's WiFi was broken, and we were told to just use another room's WiFi. There were definitely stains on the couch and the rug in the living room. The location of the hotel is in a bit of an odd spot, since you had to walk ~7 minutes just to get to the main street. The hotel layout was a bit weird too, in that you might need to walk a maze until you get to your room. We asked about late checkout but they couldn't confirm until a day before. When they finally gave us confirmation, it was only for an extra hour. This usually isn't a big deal, but was just frustrating to hear given our experience the past two days."

"Overall a fantastic stay. A bit confused while checking in, but the person at the front desk helped us out and it turned out to be pretty easy. Great building amenities and great location with the bars and restaurants close by"

"Beautiful place if you can get in. Checkin before they stop staffing the front desk if you want a guaranteed checkin. The after hours phone goes straight to voicemail and the texting takes an hour to resolve. If you’re lucky like me, they’ll give your key away to another client and sent them on a wile goose chase for an hour. After the text service has them return the key, your code will magically work. Great space but terrible customer service."

"Great place to stay when traveling with a friend! Stayed here this past weekend with a friend and we had a 2 bedroom unit for the same price of hotels in the area. The unit had a full kitchen and living room which allowed us plenty of space to hang out and we took advantage of the gym & pool onsite. The ladies at the desk made great recommendations for restaurants that were close by!"
