"The Japanese Friendship Garden is a magical experience. The Tea Tour is phenomenal. My guide through the garden was Henry and he was excellent. So knowledgable and such a calming presence. I can't wait to go back for another tea tour. Thank you for an exceptional experience."
"Phoenix's wonderful secret garden! Hard to believe you can step into a different world for a Zen park experience in the middle of the city. The park is beautiful, quiet, and tranquil. A nice place to spend the morning for a peaceful stroll. This park is a great location for photography. A park sign suggests to walk the park , then rewalk the park again in the opposite direction. You will be amazed by the different park design and features that escaped your attention on the first pass. Interesting and true. A children's park is right next door for a great family picnic after the Friendship garden. Definitely worth the visit."
"This is such a cute and peaceful attraction! The garden is small and can be fully enjoyed in less than an hour. There’s a little gift store on site with cute trinkets and yummy Japanese snacks and drinks. Unfortunately you can’t sit/lay on the grass but there are a few benches throughout the garden. It was so beautiful and def worth $10! $12 for online tickets."
"Very pretty but smaller than I thought. You can walk through it in 45 minutes. No pets allowed. They do have drinks available while you enjoy the view. Best to buy tickets online, $10pp."
"I could have stayed here for hours. A tranquil and peaceful spot in the middle of downtown. An affordable attraction in the heart of the city. It's not an attraction you will spend a lot of time at, but when you leave, you will feel great! How many attractions in the city can you say that about!? It's not great for rambunctious children. However, you may be able to entice them to be low-key while in the garden in exchange for some time spent next door at the great public park and playground! They are very serious about guests not sitting on anything except for the very few benches provided, which I think there should be more of. And definitely don't take one step off of the path. They are very protective, with good reason, of this very special place. In closing, you should definitely go if you like nature preserves and that kind of thing."
