"STAY AWAY. I would have really enjoyed my stay here (walkable to Scottsdale, super comfy bed, clean rooms, friendly enough staff) had it not been for the open air club next door that blasts music until 1-2am every night except for Mondays. Even with earplugs in and the AC roaring, I can barely hear myself think let alone sleep. Here on a business trip and will be requesting that we lodge elsewhere for all future trips to PHX. I am just glad I’m not here with my family."
"This is the lowest quality Aloft I've been to. It's night and day difference between this one and the Newark location in CA (where I stay usually). First of all, it's super noisy. There's loud music through the night, it'll wake you up even if you slept through it. Also the staff wasn't professional. The front desk girl was eating while helping me then blurped in my face, it was an awful smell! Not coming back here again."
"Beware - not noted anywhere but this hotel is in the middle of entertainment district which means loud music from surrounding bars until 2 am each night (wondered why they had earplugs on the nightstand). Property in dire need of an upgrade. Bathroom shower floor peeling, older very low toilets, carpet stained and worn. Amenities not the normal Aloft standard and we’ve stayed at several others. Definitely not a quality Marriott property. Marriott representative was extremely helpful in relocating us after the first night."
"Facilities are somewhat run down. A flood on the second floor caused several of us to need to change rooms. Also, my room had some exposed mold and cracked ceiling materials in the bathroom. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Lastly, it's very loud there at night, as there is quite a bit of nightlife very close that stays active through 2 AM."
"I wouldn’t recommend it, but I felt it was reasonably priced. The location is great. The carpets in the hall and room were fairly dirty with stains. I stayed here 4 nights and my room was not cleaned once, even though I had the please clean card on the door. It would have been nice to have my room tidied up a bit just ONE TIME in four days. There is no microwave or fridge in the rooms. It’s not that great, but you get what you pay for."
