"Marriott properties have a problem with hidden parking fees at suburban, and even rural locations. $15 to park across from a suburban shopping center surrounded by thousands of surface parking spaces is absolutely a money grab. What percentage of guests walk to this hotel - zero. What percentage of guests take Valley Metro - rounds to zero. What percentage take Uber or Lyft - low single digits. What percentage drive - somewhere around 99%. The unreasonable parking charge is effectively part of the rate, this is clearly a bait and switch scheme."
"I stayed here with my family for a weekend for a little vacation it was nice, breakfast was good, the ladies in the front were nice, the room was clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. It was just what we needed for our stay, I would stay here again"
"Starting with the good things about the hotel. The pillow is surprising more comfortable than it looks. The customer service is friendly also. Finally the location is great, within walking distance to food and shopping. That's all the good things I can say. The room I had was awful, right at the very end of the hall, every time someone walk out of the side door, my room sound like a gun shot went off. The water from the tap tasted and smells awful, and there is nothing into the room to purify it. The only way to get some water to drink is the front desk for $3.25 each bottle. It comes with breakfast, but the 4 days I stayed, 3 of those days, breakfast selection was so awful, I just skipped it and just drank some OJ only. Room service comes every other day only to replace towels and tuck in my sheets but not changing it until I checkout. While I most likely be staying here again because it is company approved location and it is the closet location. I am definitely won't be recommending this place."
"If location is all your concerned with this hotel is close to the mall. Other than that there’s nothing good I can say. The room was beyond filthy and smelt horrible and the pool is very small. Even walking into the front doors it smelt like baked in B.O. We cut our stay short and moved on to a different hotel. I’m shocked this hotel has such good reviews. The walls are paper thin, you can hear the first next to you open their bathroom door and ALL noises. There are stains on the floors, bedding, and the walls were dirty- nothing about the place was clean"
"I sort of have some mixed feelings about this place..... The location is great, easy access to restaurants and shopping. You can tell that some things were updated, but probably could have invested a little more in certain things. The rooms are very big and I was pleasantly surprised. A few things to note: -You may need to remind staff if you have a special request. We asked for a pack n play the day before check in. A note was made on our reservation by Tara, which Alma acknowledged when I checked in around 1:30pm, but by 9pm, still no pack n play. Made a trip to the front desk and then one was finally delivered. -The pullout couch with trundle bed...brilliant idea and super comfy. However, there was a stain on the twin trundle mattress.....and one set of twin bedding for two? Maybe someone took the other? -The toilet had some weird leak in the middle of the night coming from the flushing mechanism. Maybe a replacement is necessary? I didn't get a chance to tell the front desk, so I'm hoping they see this review. -The luggage carts are kind of hard to maneuver into and out of the elevators. All in all, a decent place for the price....just don't expect luxury. For the staff, we stayed in room 307....probably should have Maintenance look at the toilet before it decides to randomly attempt to flood the bathroom again."
