"Our worst hotel experience we’ve ever experienced. Room smelled very muggy and felt very humid. Turns out the bathroom exhaust wasn’t working and mold was present on the bathroom ceiling. Hotel was notified and we were told an engineer would be sent in the morning and no one ever showed up. Hotel DOES NOT meet the Hilton standards or SAFETY STANDARDS. We decided that since our complaint wasn’t taken seriously or ignored we decided to check out 3 nights earlier than our expected stay. We were given a $100 credit off on our over priced unhealthy nights stay. We found the Renaissance Hotel in Glendale. Worth the drive and stay."

"I typically love the Hilton hotels, however this weekend was frustrating. We were there for a sports competition. Sometime Saturday afternoon the water pressure in the building went out. My three girls waited until after 10 pm trying to shower, however they finally had to go to bed with no shower as they had to leave the following morning at 6:40 for their check in. I know it's an older building, but I paid way too much money for a hotel room that we couldn't shower in and kept us up with the water gurgling and pipes banging. All they could share with us was "sorry, we don't know how long. " If/when we return to downtown Phoenix I will be looking for somewhere else to stay unfortunately."

"Lack of onsite parking other than valet service is a bit of a shame, but everything else is very nice. Our room was very nice for the price, and countless downtown dining spots are easily walkable nearby. Didn't get a chance to try the rooftop bar, unfortunately, but the sushi restaurant on the ground floor was great as well."

The hotel's prime location made it incredibly convenient to explore downtown Phoenix, with various attractions and dining options within walking distance. The cleanliness of the hotel, from the lobby to the rooms, was impeccable, reflecting a commitment to maintaining high standards. Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Phoenix provided the perfect accommodations for our needs, and a memorable, comfortable stay."
