"It's not the safest place to be when it gets dark. Day time the police patrol, so it's awkward and a bit sketchy. I've seen some camps around the outskirts of the park, or the remains of them. Not saying the ppl in the camps are dangerous... But I'm not saying they aren't either. Other than that, it's a cool older park. The lake is small but still a convenient fishing spot. Ramada 33 is nice. Lights and electric. Plenty of tables and room to enjoy a large company. Secluded from the park and lake. But... Homeless come up from the wash. Our family fed them and allowed a guy to stay. He was a nice man with a cute puppy. No trouble."

"Love going here, haven't caught any fish but they are there. Lots of ducks and other birds. Nice shady spots to set up."
"They took out most the swings not sure what the plan is here but it looks sad if u ask me I wouldn't have a party , gathering,or anything here until someone in the city parks and rec get on the move and fix this place a trip and fall here would be easy due to all the rocks we're grass should be,what a shame I grew up around this park and it only gotten worse"
"This park is so nice, my kids and dogs love it. Just make sure to bring your own water cuz the water fountains are broken at the park. They need to be fixed. Luckily I had water for my kids and dogs with me because with this Arizona heat we all need plenty of water."
