"This is really a special experience. Hands on to pet, feed and cuddle the largest rodents - Pearl, Jade, Guava and Molly... the Capybara and their funny, lovey friend Guru the kangaroo! This is an amazing ranch run by humans with huge hearts and a passion for caring."
"We’ve had a long time dream to pet capybaras so we booked a tour here. 100% worth the money. Tracy was our guide and she was amazing: informative, kind, patient. She answered our questions, made sure we got enough time to pet each animal, and overall ensured we had a blast. We will be back to Tucson just to visit this place again!"
"I've always thought Capybaras were so neat. So when I found out they have them in Arizona, and that you can pet/feed them, we had to visit! The ranch is not far outside of Tucson and an easy drive in. I felt like the animals were in good care and very friendly. It was clear they were used to people as they weren't skiddish. Plenty of shade, water and space. The gal running the place was so friendly and knowledgeable. It was great to get up and personable with all the animals! A kangaroo, warthogs, emus, porcupines, capybaras, Patagonia maras, a steer, donkey and water buffalo, goats and lots of birds! You can book a private session for a more personalized experience but being that we live in Arizona, we took advantage of the group, 3rd Sunday of the month discount. Expect to spend about 1.5-2 hours for the full experience! Don't wear anything you would be upset about getting dirty (this is a petting zoo) and watch out for loose clothing! The capybaras are quick and nibbled on my shirt so I have a hole in my shirt as a souvenir! Fun place and a unique experience!"
"Definitely worth the time, my kids had a great time and I usually don’t, but the caretaker that day was super cool and very informative. She gave my littlest extra lettuce for the capybaras. I really enjoyed seeing emus again. And Snoopy the cow was super gentle with my kids. Will definitely be going again!"
"A small farm/exotic animal sanctuary with basically no parking (there is space in the dirt in front of their fence for 2 maybe 3 vehicles). Friendly people. Not just for kids! Some of the animals (like the warthog) are very friendly and really long for attention, while others just want to eat your shoes (the capybara). Their exotic birds arr really fascinating, I just wish I could have spent more time with them. I didn't get to do much petting, but it was a really cool, very educational, little adventure and I walked away from it feeling like it was money well spent. Of you've got an hour to spare, definitely give this place a visit!"
