"This place has cleaned up a whole lot. I had no problems with any of the tenants or staff. Getting a room was a bit painful but given this places history it's understandable. The internet situation is absolutely atrocious for what you pay. Many nights I could not Netflix and chill, or partake in any online gaming or streaming porn. The room is average, old furniture which was fine with me, I'm a goodwill and garage sale rat. Everything worked no problems or critters. They gave me back my deposit within 3 days of check out; no problems or shadyness. Overall if you need transitional housing or emergency housing it's good for common people. If you have issues with poor people and the disabled you should stay somewhere else. I'd check back in here again if I needed to."
"Location: 22nd and Columbus It's a decent place to stay if you are in need of a short term living solution. The rooms are clean, it's not loud. Before I lived here I would drive by and see police here pretty regularly and think it was a crime ridden place but I now realize it's just a crime prevention measure. They just just show up and hang out occasionally. The office and maintenance staff are great. I recommend it if you're in need of a filler place until you get something more permanent."
"Me and my girlfriend were looking for transitional housing. They took our IDs to run background checks, which is totally fine; we both have clean records, we just found it very odd. Even stranger they didn't offer us a room they just said they'd call us in 24hrs and never did. Just from the initial contact this place is bad, all the bad reviews must be well deserved. Further more, if you notice the ownership only thanks people for good reviews; a business owner should be especially interested in complaints, clearly this place is not, which is an admission of guilt."
"Before the new management took over this place had a bad reputation, But the new owner Miss Suzie, has been a godsend she has cleaned the place up and made it a reputable place once again. she requires a background check for anyone renting and has refurbished the rooms. She is also now refurbishing the pool. She recently upgraded the laundry room so she is making the place livable again."
"I can't believe we are staying here. We walk in and there are roaches everywhere. Nothing is clean. Nothing in the room at all. No toiletries, no towels. This "Hotel" didn't even have sheets or blankets on their beds. Can't believe we paid as much as we did and we had to go out and buy simple necessities for our hotel room. I have an emotional support animal and they say i can't have her here, while, clearly there are other people with their pets. Stay away from this place. Find somewhere else."
