"HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. I was in town for a family emergency and did not need the experience I had at this hotel. I booked two rooms, checked in, took my bag upstairs and went right back downstairs to the lobby to make a phone call. Nicole was so rude and came up to me in the lobby after she had seen me for an hour talking on the phone. She was apparently bothered I was in the lobby and asked to see my room key. I was thrown off because she checked me in an hour prior. I showed her my room key and reminded her she checked me in an hour ago. She ignored me as I was talking and walked away and said something under her breath and called me a b****. I walked up to her as she was walking away and asked her what she said. She then ignored me again. I went about my phone call and tried to brush it off. I was so baffled by this that I went to the desk and asked Nicole if she has a manager and she said no. I asked if there's a manager for the hotel again and she said no and asked me why and I said because I want to talk to a manager. I asked what the managers name and her name was and when she told me I said ok and then finished my phone call and left to my room since I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome at this point. My relative that was on the phone with me heard the whole thing and said that that was not okay and were shocked I was being treated this way for no reason. This was by far the rudest experience I have ever had. I went to bed even more upset. I emailed with Sarah the "manager" and she said she reviewed cameras but was unable to hear the words Nicole used and her demeanor so she easily dismissed me and said she will have a "talk with Nicole". This is so unacceptable and I am highly disappointed that this is the "hospitality" I paid for. Do not stay here. Worst customer service and management. I asked Sarah for corporate info and she ignored my request. Very unprofessional."
"Marriott should eliminate this particular hotel from its portfolio! Street noises are very loud. Staff solution was to give me ear plugs. Would not move me or even want to listen to my issue. Manager had zero time or regard to the complaint. Travel for years and loyal to Marriott. I would book else where as this is no where close to a Marriott property"
"Great customer service with an easy check in and check out process. They have plenty of food options (not free) breakfast in the AM. Rooms are set up different (like most Aloft) , clean rooms and the bed is was rather comfortable. Coffee provided in the room. Overall a good experience with a decently priced hotel."
"The employees at this hotel provide excellent service. Diego greeted us every day and happily provided directions as needed. Sarah helped with a billing question and ensured the issue was resolved. The lobby games are fun and the bartender is very friendly. Rooms are renovated, clean and provide a great view of the sunset. It is within walking distance of U of A and many restaurants. This is my "go-to" hotel for U of A visits."
"I stayed here for two nights for a work trip and I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service and comfort. The room was modern and comfortable with just the right number of amenities, including free wi-fi that wasn't insanely slow. I appreciated the fact that it's walking distance to a several restaurants, a 7-Eleven, and right across the street from the University of Arizona campus. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful, especially Mike, the man who runs the kitchen in the lobby area where you can purchase breakfast (make sure to get there before it closes down at 10 a.m.). And I LOVE the fact that they offer a plant-based breakfast sandwich and cold brew coffee with oat milk! The downstairs lobby is also very chic and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Tucson for business."
