"I’d like to give this place 3.5 Stars and that’s because of the kind people. Please be aware that YOU CAN NOT take your RV or trailer over the Dam Bridge the Parker, AZ way (or at all). You have to arrive to this place on the california side. Checking in we couldn’t locate the sewer cap and no one was there to help. It wasn’t till next morning my husband had to dig it from underground about 2.5 ft. It was covered with rocks and dirt. No cap. The water constantly was shut off during our time as well which did inconvenience us a few times. We ended up filling our tank after the second time it happened. And people do let off fireworks here when they’re not supposed to. No Verizon service at all & their wifi is horrible. Lots of Donkeys visit the camp behind a fence at this park. They are cute. They have a lot of little events and things to do and a decent little golf course. Beautiful river views too. Lots of Jeep trails and off road trails around. Lots to explore and see in this area. We’d stay here again. Prices are decent. People are awesome. Park has just had better days."
"The sites are very small and close to eachother have no privacy. Place feels run down and dirty we booked 4 nights and only stayed 1. No wifi signal at all that they say they have. Last thing was dirty and rocky beach couldnt even walk down it. Would not recommend this place at all could be nice if the owners put some effort into it."
"The attraction to this resort are the amazing views of the Colorado River with the mountains as a backdrop! The resort itself is deteriorating and no longer being restored to the fine amenities which were once boasted about. You can forget about the golf course now as it is better suited for Frisbee golf! Wi-Fi is not functioning, there is sewer gas smells daily from certain campsite areas, swimming beach area has broken concrete slabs tossed ashore, horseshoe area has seen better days, I can go on…but you get what you pay for and the 1-mo. rent is very reasonable."
"This park could EASILY be a five start resort with its huge amount of river front lots. Unfortunately it's like the owners bought it and stopped maintaining it. Sites are not kept up...I cleaned up our site when we arrived....palm tree debris everywhere. Site hook ups areas not maintained. The camp seems to be run by the snowbirds, who are an awesome bunch. Not sure what happens when they all leave?? No wifi unless you sit near the club house. The river is beautiful and the views are incredible. Gets a bit noisy on the river on the weekend with the locals and their water craft but fun to watch. A HUGE shout to the camp host Margaret. She looked after us for the week we were there. And the ladies at the office were fantastic also. The owners best assets!!"
"We reserved a Camping spot since we have our own trailer, a spot was assigned to us but had to be moved due to someones property parked on the spot we were assigned, no problem at all to be moved. We liked the other spot better with view of the River. The thing with having a trailer and renting out a camping spot for however long is needed, is that you won't always be so spaced out from the locals, and there is rules and regulations everyone needs to follow of course. We were there for that night only, and had breakfast next morning, and didn't even get to launch boat because someone had complained about our campsite having too many people and about a fire we had the previous night. If we weren't allowed to have two family's in one campsite, then it should of been addressed since the beginning. Thank you for the opportunity anyway, and letting us try and eliminate the places not right for our family in particular. We had seen this place before when on the River and well i guess you could say, it is a nice big place but still could end up next to someone not so nice."
