Courtyard by Marriott St. George

"Service from front desk was great, clean rooms, clean exterior, loved the fire pit and courtyard, loved having indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. Close to shopping and dining. Appreciated ambiance of outdoor lighting. Liked the on-site bistro either good food, free breakfast would have been appreciated, but prices were inline either local restaurants. Will definitely make this a first choice in future trips. Appreciated a no pets policy."

"Overall more like a 2.5…. Service 2 (bistro service 4)- reason was we got woken up by room service coming into our room at 9, and were only staying one night. We had driven all day the previous day and I had an alarm set for 945, and still had to drive all day. Nothing like being woken up out of a dead sleep and someone coming into your room. When I brought it up to the front door desk, the manager just said he would bring it up with the house keeping manager. I asked can you do anything to make it right on our side, he said yes I’ll talk to the housekeeping manager. Bistro service was awesome!!! Tasty breakfast. Gym (2- extremely small and cramped maybe 2 people could workout at a time) Indoor pool and jacuzzi 2, outdoor pool and jacuzzi 3- closed for winter Room 2.5 decor was nice and updated but very very noisy. You could hear the doors slamming and we even had a noise maker. We are also Marriott rewards members the guests checking in in front of us, older and dressed up, we’re informed they had bistro credit the next day. We are platinum members and were offered nothing in the way of points or bistro credit, which we should be. At the end of being checked in (a younger short hair blonde gentlemen) I asked if we would be getting reward points or bistro and he’s said I guess whatever you want. I asked for the bistro credit ($20) for me and my daughter). The next day when I went to check out the credit wasn’t in the system. I had to ask for it to be applied to our bill. We had previously come from staying at a different Marriott hotel and were treated extremely nice, noticed to our rewards status, and made to feel welcome. I can’t say the same at this location. We will be staying at the Fairfield Marriott in St George next time since the service is much, much better."

"Excellent doesn't even come close to describing the experience we had here at this motel. We came to be here through total necessity due to needing the closest accommodations available to St.George Regional Hospital. Courtyard met that need and exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Our Granddaughter's husband was in a horrible racing accident nearby and was life flighted to the hospital just a few blocks away from this motel. From the moment we walked in we were treated like VIP'S .Cody and the entire Courtyard staff went above and beyond to meet and exceed our every need. Even the wonderful people staffing the Bistro and the housekeeping personnel treated us like family ! At the end of our 5 day stay when we were devastated to learn our grandson in law had lost his battle against his injuries, the motel had a beautiful flower arrangement sent to my granddaughters room. Their kindness, generosity and genuine empathy went beyond anything I had ever experienced from any previous motel stays in any of the dozens of motels we've stayed at over the years. I can't thank them enough for caring enough to make a life changing event a little less stressful. Little things truly do mean allot."

"I very recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott in St. George as a guest of the HorrorFest International Film Festival. When I arrived my room was ready for me, so check-in was very quick and easy. The room was very clean and spacious. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony that looked down upon the pool and hot tub area, which I would have used if I had thought to pack swimwear! The bed was very comfortable and I sleep well. Also, the shower pressure was strong and the hot water stayed hot. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and I would be happy to stay there again and gladly recommend to others!"

"This hotel is beautiful! The rooms are very clean, the grounds are beautiful and the restaurant downstairs is outstanding! You really don’t need to leave to eat, the restaurant/bistro is really that good! The hotel staff are amazing and went out of their way to help me out when I thought I left something in the room after leaving. Turns out I didn’t but they looked and relooked after I called them. I wish I had his name but he is an asset to your hotel. The ONLY minus I would give is that it’s LOUD in the hallways in the mornings. If you leave at 0700, you won’t notice but if you leave at anytime after that, it’s loud. All the doors slam and it seems there’s not enough sound deadening to muffle the door slam. I’ve spent a lot of time in hotels and really, if there’s something to do to quiet the doors, it would go a long way with the noise. That being said you still get 5 stars because y’all deserve it! One drawback is not enough to detract from an outstanding hotel property! Good job!"
