"We stay here every time we come to St. George to visit family. Every room we have stayed in has been good except will have a room on bottom for my mom easier for her with her knees and falls wish had elevator but still good hotel. Love the pool inside and out . Great front desk workers always so nice . And the manager a was very nice and concerned with my mom and very nice person we will be back."
"The staff was very welcoming and friendly at the end of a long day. There was no problem with having a service dog with us, they provided us a ground floor room and plenty of parking for the truck and trailer. The room was budget but clean and not worn. The bed and pillows were comfortable."
"There were three instances where we struggled at the Red Lion. The first was because our room smelled strongly of some form of air freshener spray, covering some other smell, which resulted in a very stuffy room. We were given a second room, only to have a chain smoking neighbor three feet from his own outside door. The second instance was the strong smell of propane gas around the pool area. We spoke to another guest and they said they had smelled it that morning as well at breakfast. We called the office and were assured the maintenance manager would shut the pool down and get it taken care of, the maintenance worker came to deliver towels and left. The gas smell was there for our entire stay, we asked the office about it, and they said it was probably the restaurant next-door, taking no responsibility for the odor. We were concerned about breakfast because of what the other guest said, but the lady at the desk said she’d need to have us talk to her manager, so I had her write our own number down and never heard back. Lastly, our room alarm clock went off at 6:00am. After daylight saving this was a huge inconvenience. We unplugged the clock after hitting a button but found it was battery powered and heard the snooze! We did enjoy the mini golf, but I think that was the only positive experience we had."
"Our room was stuffy and extra warm, it didn't seem like the air conditioner was working very well. We were given a fan when we reported it to the front desk. It helped a little, but not enough for some of us. The kids loved all the activities, and the staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast was pretty good, we wished they had some fresh fruit."
"We were treated very well. Our room was larger than I was expecting and our parking was right out front of our room. We had a ample free breakfast with a waffle and eggs and sausage and mashed potatoes and gravy."
