Rodeway Inn St George North - Near Pioneer Park

"They have chew marks on the baseboards and rodent holes in the mattresses. I used to stay here often when it was a best western but it has gone down hill FAST. most of the lights in the room did not work. The toilet is not bolted down. The bathtub has patches of exposed fiberglass. I had booked through an app and even though I checked in and left after 10 minutes bc of the condition, they are refusing to refund. I will be sharing my experience with everyone I know (which is a lot of ppl who drive between CA and UT....) to never ever trust this hotel. To say I was uncomfortable is an understatement. It was just creepy. Also something was moving inside the mattress (which i sat down on briefly) without the obvious rodent holes."

"I have stayed here a few times as my last resort to affordable hotels in the area. At check in, you must ring a bell to alert some Disheveled person coming out of the back room, as if I had woke them up from a slumber. No smiles or greetings just a list of rules you have to sign before staying and acknowledging that you don’t have a pet. However, there is a dog that lives in with the back room, disheveled whatever staff housing? That is constantly being walked. How is this a non-pet resort? I have a service dog and I don’t need to reveal any of my handicaps or reasons I need a service dog. As a single woman I Did not feel safe. The rooms are not clean! The beds are from 20 years ago, the water doesn’t drain, there’s holes in the curtains sheets towels are flimsy and non-absorbent. Please think twice about staying here. It looks so great on the website, however, when you go in, it seems like a homeless camp."

"Love this place. Been here for a while. And housekeeping is great. Manager is awesome. Just all around great. I would tell anyone who is reading this to book a room. You will love it here."

"We stayed here for 6 nights. It is owned by the same company as Econolodge next door. The rooms are a good size, with carpet. Larger than average fridge. Better location on a street corner with a light. The biggest surprise, and disappointment, They Don't Serve Breakfast! (even though Google Maps and their own Lobby say they do). There were people smoking in the parking lot, which they should not have. A few things of disrepair. A hole in the bathroom door, bathroom door knob missing a cap, and bathroom door is crooked and difficult to shut. Several repairs have been made to this room, but not completely finished. The front door is new, but the patch work around it has not been painted, as well as a patch in the ceiling above the sink. Many areas of the walls have been spot painted, which can be easily seen. $150 deposit at check-in."

"We were happy to find a room in St. George since there was lot of events in town. But our experience was not a good one. The bathroom door was warped and would not close. Also someone punched a hole in the bathroom door from the inside. There was no clock or coffee maker. "Breakfast" was coffee, two kinds of cold cereal and muffins. The number on the room next to ours was put on with magic marker, not like the other rooms. There was a reservation for two, but only one set of hand towels and wash cloth. There was no Kleenex - even after asking. But there was a refrigerator."
