"This place is a dump. I have a service dog . She has her service tags on her collar and I carry the necessary documentation that proves she is a licensed service animal and is allowed to go everywhere I go when it is a public venue. My dog alerts me when I’m close to having a seizure allowing me the time to get somewhere safe. She is important to my well being. My dog is governed by the disabilities act and it is a federal law that she is allowed to go where ever I go. She is a highly trained and an expensive animal that allows me the freedom to go and do things that I could never do before she was assigned to me. I always carry documentation that identifies her as a federally protected service animal allowing her to accompany me where ever I go. The bartender saw me come into the bar and never said a word to me. It was when I asked to be paid for my winnings that he told me I couldn’t have my dog in the bar and told me to leave. When I tried to explain he got very rude and returned to his seat and called the police on me. There wasn’t one time a saw the bartender do anything but sit at the bar and flirt with the other bartender. We couldn’t even get his attention to get a beverage. So when he finally had to do something he was irritated that he actually had to get off his butt and do something besides flirt with the girls. Federal law insures that I be allowed to have my service animal by my side. I spent money in this place and not once was I approached by the bartender to see if I wanted a drink or discuss his concerns over my dog. Not only was I embarrassed but offended that he called the police when I did nothing wrong. It is just plain sad that their are such ignorant people like the bartender at the State Line it’s no wonder that very few people go to this place. I intend to pursue a law suite because of the treatment I received."
"Good local hangout. Friendly bar staff that know how to pour a drink and pool tables if you want a break from gaming."
"It was a nice, quiet afternoon there. Got to visit with some good friends in a relaxing atmosphere, without alot of noise. Played $5 in a machine and won $165 . Couldn't have asked for a better time."
"I’ve been in here a few times now. I have yet to be greeted, or even asked if I wanted or needed anything. It’s a bit run down, looks a little scary from the outside and the inside doesn’t offer much in the way of making up for the outside. I guess my best description would be: This old school, saloon style, big bad/wild west casino/bar isn’t a place for ladies, gentlemen, or any person that hasn’t been around the block a time or two. No thin skin allowed!."
"we've been there 3 or 4 times to play the machines. absolutely NO customer service. noone even comes over and asks if you'd like a drink or even says hello. very unfriendly for local bar wishing to have more customers."
