Reviews
"The Neon Museum is a MUST stop on any Vegas trip. Besides all of the fun and amazing vintage signs, the volunteer staff is unlike any we've ever experienced - they really elevated our experience with their knowledge and their sincere and genuine willingness to help. Randy was awesome, as were all of the volunteers with whom we spoke. Their building is a great addition to all of the signs and presents their brand in fine fashion. Gotta love their tagline, too. We took a ton of photos but are only posting a few to whet your appetite."
"This is a cool place. Reasonably priced at 25 per person. The bone yard museum is smaller than we expected but full of some cool signs, including the oldest sign from 1940. We recommend going during the first evening session. The signs are starting to turn on, the lighting for photos is great and not to dark that you can't see yourself in photos. The staff were great and full of info. They did not hesitate to answer questions."
"Last time we were in Las Vegas we wanted to visit but it was sold out! This time, we bought in advance and would recommend that as well as time slots were filling up quickly the week leading up to our visit. We went on the "History. Brought to Light. The Stories of Las Vegas Past and Present" tour but there was also an option for a movie themed tour. The tour guide speaks in a microphone and they give each person a radio with headphones so you can hear them nice and clearly. The 45 minute tour went really quickly and our guide provided details about the individual signs but fascinating history of Las Vegas."
"Finally able to check the Neon Museum off our bucket list! We visit Vegas a few times a year for a quick getaway and have had it on our list for years! First and foremost, go at night! The old signs lit up just seem magical with their age and condition. It's definitely a walk through Las Vegas history like no other museum! There is a guided tour available as well as a self guided tour using your phone. We arrived too late in the evening for a guided tour but thoroughly enjoyed the self guided audio, it gave just enough history of the signs to make us want more! It's a small, outdoor museum with a wide dirt walking path through the signs and will take about 20-30 minutes to wander through. Everything is corded off to keep hands and wandering feet away from the bulbs and metal but it's still necessary to keep those kiddos at bay! The guides we observed seemed super knowledgeable and friendly but the other staff we encountered were a bit unfriendly and unwelcoming. They will definitely let you know if you lean too far over the ropes to take a picture and remind you that you need to keep moving!! All in all, it's a great piece of history and something you should fit into your Vegas itinerary."
