"I would not recommend this agent to anyone. It has been a complete nightmare and waste of time since Mark took over. All my family was with Wayne for 20+ years but have now all found a new agent. All my business policies were supposed to be canceled in October due to this office being completely unorganized and waiting until the last minute to renew my workers compensation in April. In May I told them I would not be renewing any of my policies that ended in October. In August when Renee called me to ask about renewing, I told her I would not be renewing, and I also let them know I would not be renewing in mid-September when I asked for the paperwork my current agent needed. Come mid-October I got 2 charges from Allstate, I called them and they said I need to fill out cancellation forms. I filled them out and sent them in. Then in mid-November I got 2 more charges from Allstate, I called Allstate again and they said they would call back but never heard back from them. Instead, Mark called my current agent to tell him that I never sent an Auto policy cancellation form. I go back to my email that was sent 11/01/23 and resend it to him and his assistant, I never heard back from any of them again. Now in the beginning of December they are sending me collection letters for 2 of the policies, I call them again 12/28/23 to figure it out and nothing again. Sent an email asking for his territory managers information 12/28/23 due to his office not be able to resolve this but no response, I resent the email on 1/04/23 and Mark responded that they will not answer any more of my questions due to me being frustrated with his office when I spoke to them on 12/28/23 which of course at this point I was because they have wasted plenty of my time and still continue wasting my time. He gave me a 1800 number to call, he also did not provide me with his territory managers information. On 1/12/23 I received a letter in the mail that was sent 12/29/23 from Marks office stating that my Commercial Auto Policy was reinstated back to 11/01/23. This was not authorized by me to get reinstated. Emailed him about the policy being reinstated without my authorization and of course no response. He will be getting reported to the Arizona Department of Insurance and to the Allstate Customer Advocacy Center."
"If I could give a -10 I would. I’m watching my family go through hell with mark and his people in office. Wayne was always straight forward and reliable. The experience we are having is complete opposite. Please! If you want to keep your money DO NOT USE MARK. I myself work in customer service and would never treat people the way my family has been treated. I truly hope someone higher up steps in… you can see we are not the only ones having this type of experience. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Organization and communication is key in all business and this guy completely lacks in all areas."
"Had been signed up with Wayne for years with flawless service. Personal phone calls. Sub 5 minute email responses. Then he sold and things went south. Rates close to doubled. Was charged random amounts for different months. Car mysteriously disappeared from the main auto policy. No one answers phones there. We switched agencies and cut our bill back in half. That was in October. We weren't billed for November by Allstate, but they billed us in December, despite receiving and acknowledging our cancellation notice in October. I think had we not been looking at our bank accounts, they would of continued charging us. Now, close to 45 days later, they stated they need a notification of new insurance before they reimburse us for December. Why wasn't that requested in October? Zero could be a more appropriate rating. They don't deserve your money. JUST STAY AWAY."
"The service and attention to detail was second to none. I felt like they really took the time to understand what my insurance needs are and suggested some great options. I was so impressed with the customer service Especially Renee, I had them quote me for a business policy. Which not only saved me $$ it actually is a better fit for my business needs. Obviously, I moved my business insurance to Mark Day’s agency as well."
"What a joke. I was a customer of Wayne Smith for almost 30 years and anytime you called you got a real person in his office that could answer your question not some call center in India. I left several voice mails and sent an email with no response. After the second day of calling someone finely answered the phone, she told me they were short staff and were not able to answers my calls. I asked to speak with Mark and was told he was busy. If you want customer service keep looking, at the end of my next billing cycle I will be finding a new agent. Just very, very disappointed with my new agent."
