"I called central shoe repair to see if they could repurpose my beloved dog Cleo’s leather collar. I was very sad she died and I hated the thought of it being put away in a drawer somewhere. They were able to see me immediately and took plenty of time to discuss what I might what. The man doing the work had a lovely idea to make me a key chain that would clip to my purse so I don’t dig around for my keys (he made something similar for his wife). He was very thorough and asked lots of questions. He went above and beyond, re-stitching the leather and conditioning the item. I felt the price was fair for custom work. My heart is touched and I find comfort in this repurposed item, as it reminds me of fond memories with her and is a very usefully item. I will go to them with any repairs I may need in the future and highly recommend this local family shop."

"Needed soles of heels replaced. Read reviews here so decided to give them a shot since my trusted shoe repair shop is now farther from me at 20th st and camelback. Dropped shoes off last Friday and was told to pick up in a week. Came back Saturday, give them an extra day. Lady couldn't find my shoes and said it wasn't done, needed to be cleaned. Prepaid $25 for heel repair when dropped off shoes. Thought I'd get better service since I already paid even before seeing results. Nope! Won't be back here. Going to KY reliable and trustworthy shoe repair guy by Fry's along 20th St. Giving extra star since the heel was fixed but overall experience was bad."
